The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.Prov.18:10 Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and His strength; seek His face always. ps 105:3,4 But thanks be to God who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him. Dear James,Lynette and Family,
All of us in Austin are praying for Sydney's total recovery. She is on a lot of prayer groups and we all cried together when we go your email last week. We are all thinking about you and wishing her a speedy recovery. We must trust now more than ever that God's plan is going exactly like he had planned, although none of us can understand this set of circumstances. Sydney's strength and courage continue to amaze me and I admire her so much. We love you all and look forward to encouraging news this week. Patty

Hi Sydney, We missed you at First Grade Colonial Day! We dressed up and made a candle, played Colonial games, learned how to sew, learned about a spinning wheel, looked at a Colonial soldiers musket, wrote a letter with a quill and ink.
Here is a joke: Why should you bury your money in the garden? ... To make the soil rich!
What is a ghosts favorite plant? ... Bam-BOO!
Why are May flowers so clean? ... From all the April showers.
What does a worm do in a cornfield? ... Goes in one ear and out the other.
Why did they let the turkey join in the band? ... He had drum-sticks!
What do bees wear out to dinner? ... Yellow jackets!
========= Last night I saw a green lizard on our front porch. I tried to catch it but it got away. Love, William.

As a cancer survivor, I grieve for your pain and frustration. In the name of Jesus, I pray no weapons of viruses, diarrhea, liver malfunctions, a cough, fungus in her lung, hives over most of her body, and probably graft vs host formed against Sidney will prosper. In the name of Jesus, we take back every ground given over to this disase process. I praise the Lord for Parents like you and a little girl with so much strength. You are amazing people with such a testimony of your relationship to our Lord. My biggest fear with my cancer was that it would come back. Once I realized that Jesus would take care of me even then, I had peace. He will never leave us. I will continue to pray for Sidney and for her family. I remember my family suffered much more than I did. But I remember that it was their concern that kept me fighting. I remember it was Jesus doing the fighting for me. I love you and yours. God Bless You! Rae (I am a friend of Karee and Gregg Sampson)

Dear Thweatt Family,
Karee Sampson forwarded this site to me and I have spent some time reading about Sydney and her history and yours. Your strength and courage have touched me and I will pray for Sydney and your family with fervor.
My sister-in-law is a minister and sent me this prayer when my mom was sick and I felt comforted by it:
The light of God surrounds you; The love of God enfolds you; The power of God protects you; The presence of God watches over you. Wherever you are, God is. Amen
Warmly, Barbara Garton

Dear James and Lynette,
We don't know what to say, other than that we we continue to pray for you, and to remind you of the rest of the Psalm: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me."

James and Lynette, I have not written in a while--do not ever assume your entire family is not in my heart and prayers- ALWAYS, ALWAYS YOU ARE. I haave been in Austin as Russell has been in the hospital. Took an infectious disease doc to figure out--he had a rare staph infection in his central line--finally hit on the right drug. I am indeed saddend to read about all the problems Sydney is experiencing. Russell's mom, Bonny and I talked a long long time yesterday about her and your family. Even tho our situation is much easier (ALL with Russell) we can so quickly identify with your fears, sadness, disappointment and your hopes. We pray pray pray and will continue. He is a Shepard, He will carry you thru this valley and His hand is on Sydney. We pray for her two brothers and their time spent away from Sydney, for their strength, understanding and patience. Our First Light class at Highland Park is a strong class, MANY PRAYER WARRIORS---Sydney remains on our top page, at the top of the list. We speak of her every Sunday. I will continue to look for and keep up with your lives thru your writings. This I know is so difficult, Bonny said it has been for her, but yet without it she feels a lose, not checking on messages and sending out news. Be still and allow God to wrap His arms around you and feel His warmth and protection. nancy baker
