HELLO JAMES AND LYNETTE I'M PRAYING FOR YOU AND ALSO SYDNEY FOR COMPLETE HEALING. HERE'S A POEM I WAS READING . THE NUN'S TWENTY-THIRD PSALM.THE LORDIS MY PACE-SETTER,I SHALL NOT RUSH. HE MAKES ME STOP AND REST FOR QUIET INTERVALS:HE PROVIDES ME WITH HIS IMAGESOF STILLNESS,WHICH RESTORE MY SERENITY. HE LEADS ME IN WAYS OF EFFICIENCY THROUGH CALMNESSOF MIND. AND HIS GUIDENCEIS PEACE. EVEN THOUGH I HAVE A MANYTHINGS TO ACCOMPLISHEACH DAY, I WILL NOT FRET,FOR HIS PRESENCE IS HERE. HIS TIMELESSNESS,HIS ALL-IMPORTANCE WILL KEEP ME IN BALANCE. Dear Sydney, I want you to know that today, I am giving thanks--thanks for you, because you have a golden heart, a shining countenance and a feisty spirit. God's image sparkles through in you!

I also give thanks for your parents, James and Lynette--God really knew what He was doing when he chose such loving, devoted and faith-full people to train you and your doting big brothers up in the way of the Lord, so each of you can fully become the wonderous person He created you to be.

I am thankful for your marvelous team of doctors and medical personnel, who tirelessly strive to use every ounce of their God-given talent and skill to be a channel of God's comfort and healing for you.

And I am especially thankful for the innumerable people, all around the world, who constantly lift your up in prayer, asking God's blessings for you and your family.

Precious Sydney, is anyone in this world cradled in His hands more tenderly and swaddled in more love--His and ours--than you?

I think not.

I am praying for you today, James and Lynette, for our Father to reach down and just totally cover your hearts with His peace and reassurance, and for Sydney to be healed of these complications, to be relieved of any pain, and for her precious spirit to remain strong and trusting in Him.

I heard a Christian artist (do not remember the lady's name) yesterday say, "God's plan requires me to hold tight to His hand." This is my prayer for each of you. May God's hand heal Sydney, guide the doctors in the treatments needed and may His hand hold the Thweatt family close to His heart.

Our Bible verse for this coming week in BSF Children is Romans 15:13 "May the God of hope fill you with joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

We are all praying for you all day and all night, and so sorry for this change in Sydney's progress toward good health. You are all so strong, you have set an incredible example for everyone you know and many you don't know. Please give our love to Grandmother Sydney.

Psalm 116 I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.(1,2) Then I called on the name of the Lord: "O Lord, save me!" The Lord is gracious and righteous,our God is full of compassion.(4,5)

Praying for Jesus to rebuke the wind and the raging waves so the storm will stop and all will be calm! Lord, please answer our faith filled plea and restore Sydney quickly. Let her quick healing be a glorious witness of Your awesome power. In Jesus name! Amen

Lynette & James,
I have to share with you how God has used you to minister to me recently. Our family went to Snowmass for Spring Break, and on the first run on the first day, I fell and tore up my knee. After Shelby got me settled back in our hotel room, with ice, pain meds and a big brace on my leg, he left to ski with the kids. As soon as the door closed I started crying (in pain and pity) ... feeling sorry for myself. The first prayer I uttered was "Why, Lord?... Why did this have to happen?" He immediately brought 2 clear images to my mind - your family and the Moock family (whose 5-yr-old has been very ill). He reminded me of your amazing faith and His faithfulness to you. I then asked Him for forgiveness for complaining and worrying about such a minor thing as a knee; and instead I thanked Him for the good I knew He would bring. For the rest of the trip, anytime that I felt discouraged, God brought you to my mind and it inspired me to pray and claim Scripture. I also began praying that you would not be plagued with the question of "Why?" I really believe it is one of Satan's tools to keep us in a pit of despair. So I'm writing to thank you for your example of faith, strength, endurance and hope, and for sharing your journey so honestly with all of us. Let's all keep claiming what Jesus said, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." 2 Corinthians 12:9. God bless you and sweet Sydney. Love, Nell

I am praying and asking that God protect you and James from the obvious fear that comes with the illness of a child but also that you are able to face whatever comes with understanding and joy because it is our Father that knows what is best for us and those around us.
