Lynette and James, Your message on the website today is wonderful and I believe from God. Your faith and love inspires and helps me in many ways. We were happy to hear Sydney is near the end of her chemo and feeling energetic. She is a special little girl, who is so loved by many. We are praying for Sydney and each of you. Blessed Sydney, we are friends of your grandmother Sydney and Daddy Huff. They keep us filled with the good news of your strength and recovery. We think of you every day and pray for you every moment. I know all of our prayers have been and will be answered. Hey Thweatts!! You guys are so amazing! Your faithfulness, courage and strength awes me more everyday. If I ever doubted God's sustaining strength, your stories of Sydney have put all my foolish doubts to rest. I wanted to let you guys know that I am (well, actually my husband will be there in my stead as I will be on tour with Annie) anyway, I am walking in the NYC Brooklyn Bridge Light the Night walk for the Leukemia/ Lymphoma Society in honor of Sydney, and my other little friend Olivia. Dear Lynette,
I am the Executive Director of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and friends of Marcee and Grants. I had the pleasure of meeting you at Marcee's about a year ago.

Please know that your precious Sydney is in my thoughts and prayers. The faith, in our Father, that you show in this website is truly amazing. I will also pray that you and your family continue pulling strength from our Heavenly Father, and from your family and friends.

I love the poem Footprints in the Sand, by Mary Stevenson, especially when it says...

LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."

The LORD replied:

Hi Syndey (and Lynette), I am thinking of you and praying that you keep such a great attitude and stay so wonderfully healthy. God loves you so much. He has done so much to protect you through this process. I pray that you keep having the most fun of any little girl ever in the hospital. Your bravery is such an inspiration to me and others. I am memorizing Psalm 121, (but I am not as good at remembering it as your mom<.yet>). You can quiz me on it if you want soon (but not yet). That will help me keep learning it! Just wanted you to know that anytime we pray, at meals, in the car, at bedtime, we pray for you Sydney. Davis is determined that you are "all better" so there is no need to pray. I keep telling him that it never hurts to pray for somebody!! We love you guys!
