Hi Lynette,
I thought of you when I read today's entry from "My Utmost for His Highest". It said (paraphrased) "A believer's life is in the hands of God like a bow and arrow in the hands of an archer. God is aiming at something the believer cannot see, and He stretches and strains, and every now and again the believer says - 'I cannot stand any more.' God does not heed, He goes on stretching till His purpose is in sight ... trust yourself in God's hands. You cannot see Him just now, you cannot understand what He is doing, but you know Him."

Dear faithful Lynette, it is obvious to all around you that you know Him well and love Him deeply.

Blessings and prayers,
Nell

Lynette, With Mother's day just around the corner I think of you and the mentor you are to us all. Marcee has shared the sweetest stories of your strength and courage in difficult situations that most of us could never imagine. Seeing your faith in God reminds me of the Truth of His Word and of His goodness and love no matter what the circumstances are. I am so touched to hear others speak of how much your family means to them and how your lives have influenced their own. I told a friend today, we have the privledge and responsibility to come beside your family and "lift up your arms" as they did for Moses when they were too heavey for him to lift on his own. He hears our prayers and they matter to Him. That just amazes me. Every day, Sydney is an example of God's healing touch. Your faithfulness strengthens our faith. Thank you! We love you ALL!! Dear Lynette,

We have continued too be on our knees for you! And have again written Sydney's name on our palms.

Your journey has been such an inspiration to us, and though prayng through tears much of the time, we have received unimaginable blessings (and joy) by seeing our Lord so faithfully answer our (and your) prayers!

This is one of my favorite hymns. Every time I sing it, I can't help but lift it up as a praise for sweet Sydney... and your family.

"O GOD Beyond all Praising"
O God beyond all praising, we worship you today and sing the love amazing that songs cannot repay; for we can only wonder at every gift you send, at blessings without number and mercies without end; we lift our hearts before you and wait upon your Word, we honor and adore you, our great and mighty Lord!

Then hear, O gracious Savior, accept the love we bring, that we who know your favor may serve you as our King; and whether our tomorrows be filled with good or ill, we'll triumph through our sorrows and rise to bless you still; to marvel at your beauty and glory in your ways, and make a joyful duty our sacrifice of praise.

Sweet Sydney and Lynette - Don't lose heart! "Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble... for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you" Deut. 31:6

"For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus." Phil1:6

We will continue PRESSING on in prayer for each of you!

Love,
The Waters

"The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17

I pray that the Lord will quiet what must surely be a stressed and heavy heart with his love during these difficult days. May he give you strength for today and hope for tomorrow. Please tell Sydney that Cole Johnson (from her E-III class last year) says "hi" and that he is praying for her.

Dear Lynette and James - as I pray for you the scripture that comes to mind is Isaiah 43:1-
"I have called you/Sydney by your name; YOU/SHE ARE MINE. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, Your Savior." Scripture says "It is in the POWER of His Name and the Belief in HIS name" that we can do all things. I praise our heavenly Father that HE has healed Sydney. She has an incredible call on her life and will be such a testimony to the world. I thank our mighty God for such parents as you to remain steadfast in HIS love and strength. His promise to you is that HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU.

Blessings to you. Give Sydney a big hug and kiss for all of us at PCS. Tell her how much we love her and how proud of her we all are.

Love, PJ and Preston

Numbers 6:22-26
May the Lord bless and keep you, may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you. May He lift up His countenance upon each of you and give you peace."

I am in Dallas tonight staying with my parents, even though their A/C went out. My Mother asked how Sydney was doing. I gave her an update and she said she would continue to pray.

More later.

Dear Thweatts,
We are praying for you every day! The children and I have made a "Sydney Prayer List" on the board at school. There are 11 things we pray for each day. Today we added Lynette in RED so we will always remember that mommies need strength too. The children are so faithful to pray and when prayer time is over, we have covered all 11 items on our list!

We love you and will not forget to pray!

Dear Thweatts,

We still continue to pray for Sydney and your family here in Kentucky. We are about to attempt a last invitro next month after losing the baby. No matter how difficult our situation seems we always hold you in our hearts as an inspiration and example of Gods love, power and promise! Bailey talks of Sydney and her progress often and we will continue to pray for a complete recovery! We have passed your website on to a friend who is undergoing treatment and it is an inspiration to her as well. We will specifically pray for God to uphold you in strenghth and give you rest when you can that it would be a peaceful and calm assurance in this last battle.

Your whole family, the medical teams, nurses, and all else involved in this battle are in our thoughts and prayers. Know that we have great compassion and empathy with you. Our daughter, Lori, had leukemia in 1982-1984. She was very brave - but medical science was so limited then - 20 plus years ago. But regardless of any and all reports - Know that the Lord is with you and will keep you. Your faith and trust in HIM will carry you through. It is His strength and wisdom that will help to all things work for the good...

*My husband, John, and I work for the same company Cynthia Gammill works for - Watson & Taylor. Yours In Christ, Shirley Sneed

"Every day the Lord himself is near me with a special mercy for each hour; All my cares he fain would bear and cheer me, he whose name is Counselor and Power. The protection of his child and treasure is a charge that on himself he laid; 'As your days, your strength shall be in measure,' this the pledge to me he made."
