Dearest Thweatts,
When Ray told Sam about the upcoming 72 hours Sydney and you all are facing, Sam told Ray he is going to fast with her. Ray and I both were so inspired by Sam's desire to do this with Sydney, that we, too, are joining in. He's on his way home from his last final exam. With that "weight" lifted, he's ready to take on the next 72 hours with you. Sending you all our love, Ann for Ray, Mollie, Sam, Libby and Emily

Lynette, thinking about you and praying for God's strength and wisdom. I know you and Sydney are weary. In Hebrews 2 we are reminded that God has put everything under Christ."God left nothing that is not subject to Him. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to Him. But we see Jesus..Keep your eyes fixed on the author and finisher of our faith. I'm claiming Jn 14:14 tonight. love to you both, sleep well knowing that "God will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways" Psalm 91

Do not call to mind the former things or ponder things of the past. Behold I will do something new, now it will spring forth; Will you not even be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18 I pray that even this moment God is at work, making roadways in the wilderness and rivers in the desert with Sydney and each of you, Fondly, Lisa

Lynette,
Hi! I am sorry to hear that Sydney is still fighting the diarrhea. This may come out as really lame, but when our kids have diarrhea at home don't we usually give them bananas? Could Sydney eat a banana or what is in the banana that helps? Postassium? I don't know if I'm helping, just a thought! Am guessing this might be the best way to reach you. Hang strong!!! We will say an extra prayer for you!!! Take care.

Love you,
Susie

I had a dream the other day about a verse meant for you guys...or maybe to reassure me. (Now you know I even dream about praying for you, Sydney.) Anyway, it sounded very "Old Testament" from a book of the Bible that starts with an "E" is what I remembered from my dream. I have searched and cannot find a verse that matches what I remember. But, I do know that it began talking about being in the crucible of pain and suffering and ended with the fact THAT YOU WILL BE DELIVERED.

"Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, The God who is our salvation. God is to us a God of deliverances; And to God the Lord belong escapes from death." Psalm 68:19-20

Lynette and Sydney,
Sarah and I are still lifting you and sweet Sydney up in prayer and thinking of you daily. How we miss you and long for your battles to lessen.
Sydney, Sarah made her spring semester project for you. Johnson gave us the colors in her room at home, so hopefully it will coordinate. Sarah had to use her artistic ability and she thinks that is so appropriate for something made for you, Sydney. She is always talking about what an incredible artist you are!! I know the Lord is using the two of you mightily. I miss you both terribly.

Dear Lynette and James,
I am praying for your sweet baby bird tonight that the Lord will give her a healing night's sleep as He covers her with his feathers, that He will finish the good work of healing that He is doing within her because we know that ALL the healing that she is experiencing is from Him, that He will rejoice over her with singing as she sleeps, that she will awake feeling comforted and refreshed and that she will begin to eat and drink and be nourished so that she can gain weight and gain strength. May God give you all exactly what you need every minute of the day. May God bless you and your family. Thank you for continuing to keep us posted so that we can pray more effectively. We praise God for how He is answering those prayers and for how He is sustaining you all now.

I was glad to hear the good news about the dissipating of the gvhd; my prayer is that God will completely heal her of this. I can certainly understand Sydney's frustration about being in the hospital. I will pray that she and Lynette are able to leave soon. We continue to pray for your family in my homeroom as well as at my home.
