Dearest Sidney & Family,
My blessings and prayers are with you all. My grandaughter Sarah, who is now ten years old, has also endured much pain through a birth defect. God grants us strength, faith & hope with each new day. I will pray for you to persevere with love and that Sidney will heal so she can give glory to our great and glorious God.
May His mercy and grace sustain you.
Your sister in Christ,
Debby Mcdonald

Dear Lynette, James and Sydney,
Thank you again for continuing to be a picture of what it really means to walk with Christ. It is hard to express in words what an impact your letters have had on our entire family. The kids (and Tom and I) have learned so much about trusting God through uncertainty and suffering, that God is strong even when life is fragile and what it means to intercede unrelentlessly on someone else's behalf.
We were at Dancing Angels today and wishing that Sydney was there with us. The kids and I stopped in that quiet chapel on the campus. Each of the children prayed aloud and earnestly for Sydney. We are all pleading with God for miraculous healing.
With love,
Lynne for all

James and Lynette,

Our family continues to pray that the Lord will keep you in His perfect peace just as He promises to do for those whose mind is stayed on Him (Isaiah 25:3)Through the ages our hymns of faith have given praise and honor to the Lord and strength and comfort to His saints. They help us keep our eyes in Him. This is a beautiful hymn:
The Christian's Hope Can Never Fail
Taken from the Gadsby Hymnal #245

We travel through a barren land,
With dangers thick on every hand;
But Jesus guides us through the vale;
O, The Christian's hope can never fail.

Huge sorrows meet us as we go,
And devils aim to overthrow;
But vile infernals can't prevail;
O, The Christian's hope shall never fail.

Sometimes we're tempted to despair,
But Jesus makes us then His care;
Though numerous foes our souls assail;
O, The Christian's hope can never fail.

We trust upon the sacred word,
The oath and promise of the Lord;
And safely through each tempest sail;
O, The Christian's hope can never fail.

"According to His great mercy, He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled and unfading, kept in heaven for you..." I Peter 1:3,4
