Dear Lynette and James,
I am posting our Providence Prayer email on the website so that all who read it tonight and tomorrow will do as we are doing here in Dallas:
We would love for everyone to take a marker and write "Sydney" on the palm of your hand Wednesday. Just as the Lord does for us in Isaiah 49:16

"Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands. . ."

we want to remember her every minute in prayer the same way.

Love
Wendy

Lynette and James,
We are pourig out our hearts to the Lord for Sydney's life! We have written Sydeny's name on our palms - I wish we would have done this long ago, it has been such a blessing for Ryan and Jack (and me) to stop and pray every time they see her name! Faithfully, Deborah

Happy Birthday Johnson - we hope your day was special! I also hope you know how precious you are to the Lord... and how amazing that He chose your birthday for such a big event to occur. We know you are a special gift to Sydney just as she is to you. May the Lord give you the best birhtday gift in healing her!

Love, The Waters

Miss Sydney Thweatt, you are the most popular young lady I know. People everywhere in Dallas are so inspired and happy to know your family and to hear about your strength and faith. I ask everyone I talk to pray for the special girl I know. I am very excited about the donor that will literally give you new "energy". I truly hope and pray that it will renew your body in every way. YOU GO GIRL!!! Can't wait for tomorrow...
Faithfully,
Mary and family

Special prayers this night and tomorrow as we lift up Sydney, whom our Lord has sustained for this day.

Sydney is on all of our palms and in our hearts. We also thank our Lord for the donor, and pray that her body will completely accept the marrow and it will begin to function as her own. Bringing healing and strengh to her whole body.

We love you,
Susan, Kyle, Zach, Scott and Michelle

Hello,

I first heard about Sydney from Colin and Devin, I played football with them. I have started reading her history, and I can tell you that I know the roller coaster you are on. A girl that was practically a sister to me had been sick for about a month before one day she went to the doctor, where she passed out in the office. She was rushed to a hospital, where she was quickly diagnosed with AML, and they immediately Careflighted her to Children's. We found out later that the doctor rode with her, only the 2nd time that has happened in CareFlight history. She had severe pressure and hemorrhaging of her brain, and was in a coma. For the next 11 days, I was at Children's everyday, riding that rollercoaster of emotions. She was expected to die 3 times already, and yet she still fought on. But on the 1st of December, the leukemia had spread so far and so fast that she was already gone, only kept alive by machines. I got to see her 30 mins before she met her Father, and let me tell you, it was amazing how she looked. This has been so hard on everyone, as Caitlin was truly an angel on earth. She has a website, www.grace4caitlin.org, and her memorial service was recorded and has been uploaded there. I want you and your family that i will be praying for you, because i know that God does work miracles, and we are all part of His plan. Caitlin died 11 days before her 18th birthday, which is tomorrow. I remember our pastor saying that to us, that was so short, but to God, it was perfect. Caitlin touched so many people from her hospital bed, and so is Sydney. I am one of them. I'm sure you've heard it before, and so did i, but one verse that really helped me was Psalm 23-"Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me. Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Her parents have told me so many times that prayer has helped them out so much, and so i want you to know that i am praying for you all. Even though we don't know His plan, we have to trust it, for it is Perfect. We walk by faith and not by sight. We serve the God that created Sydney and Caitlin, who created the Heavens and the Earth, who parted the Red Sea, who healed the blind and the lame man, who rose from the dead, so I have faith that His will shall be done. I do not know what the future holds for your family, but i do know that He is in control.

I am still praying.
My words fall short but thankfully when our words fail, His Word succeeds.

Lynette and James,
We are praying!
"Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
The Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and His understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength ot the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youth grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint."
-Isaiah 40:28-31

We love y'all

Dear James, Lynette and Family,
As night falls my thoughts are about all of you this evening. Tomorrow is the day Sydney has been "waiting" for, as all of us. I pray that she wakes up feeling strong, she is ready and the transplant goes as smoothly as possible. James and Lynette, your strength and courage has been beyond belief and I admire your every word of faith, encouragement and your thoughts of just being a human being with doubts and fears. Your faith has not failed you yet, no reason to think it will now. We are all praying, we have faith that God is in charge and knows exactly what he is doing and the outcome is God's plan and will. Tomorrow will come and we will all be "waiting" anxiously to hear that the transplant has been completed and all is well. Our love to you and your family at this turning point in this nightmare. I remain faithful as always, Patty
