Happy Birthday dear Sydney! You should definitely celebrate your birthday every day for a week when you recover. You could have a favorite color day, a pajama day, a joke day, a party day, a music day, a movie day, and a board game day. These are just ideas from my daughter. She likes to plan fun days when she is recovering from chemo and procedures. I hope it helps you through recovery too.
Did you meet Dylan? He lives in Helmsley too.

I did not get the message about the prayer service until this morning. I was reading 2 Samuel 5:22-25 last night. It tells how the Lord told David to go fight the Philistines and not be afraid for the Lord would go out in front of him and win the battle. The biblical principal was the Lord God Almighty had already won the battle before it started. But David still needed to endure the trials of the battle in order to know God awesome power in victory versus his own power to achieve victory.
May today you receive God's clear message that He has won this battle within Sydney's body even tho she is still having to fight the disease. She was wonderfully made by the Lord and created for this purpose - to show His power and glory in her and what He can do in our lives when we surrender all to Him.
Tell Sydney Happy Birthday when she comes out of surgery. I am praying for her full recovery as well as spiritual encouragment and strength for James and Lynette.
May the Lord Jesus be close to you this day and everyday!!!!
With Christ's love and mine, Cynthia G. Gammill Sydney's 3 year old BSF Children Leader
