Dearest Thweatt family, You are so dear to our hearts. Although I have been out of touch for the past few weeks with the website, Sydney has been on my heart so strongly. I am not pleased that she should have to suffer. God will certainly reward her with the finest jewels in her crown! She is a beautiful testament of the family that is raising her to be a lovely Christian woman. I love the painting she is enjoying and the rituals that allow her to feel control over her daily life, when things must seem very out of control with illness. What a wise and wonderful way to keep her strong mentally and spiritually! Please tell Miss Sydney that I am almost done with something else to send her! I will try to hurry!! Blessings to you all, Mary

Dear Thweatts, We continue to pray for your whole family. This was the benediction at PCPC today: "O God, before the passion of Your one and only Son, You revealed His glory upon the holy mountain: Grant to us that we, beholding by faith the light of His countenance, may be strengthened to bear our cross and be changed into His likeness from glory to glory, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever!" May the Lord continue to give you eyes of faith. Love, Kendall, Keith, Wilson, and Anna

Hi Sydney! Did I tell you that our dog is named Sydney too? Whenever we call her or pet her, we remember you and say a prayer. Our Sydney loves to play ball and chase rabbits and have visitors (especially my nieces Amanda & Anna.)
Hope you brothers are keeping you entertained! Take care and feel better!
P.S. What did your friend William do with that lizard he caught a while back?

Thus says the Lord who created you, and He who formed you... "Fear NOT, for I have redeemed you; I have calle you by your name. You are mine! When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned. Nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel your Savior." We stand in awe of the Lord and give him glory for all that He has done, continues to do, and will do for Sydney. Lynette - may it be a time of just resting in the Lord's arms for you and Sydney. As you are lead, I would encourage you to read Psalm 91 daily with Sydney, claim every word of it, and put on the full armor of God. We love you and will be waiting with everyone to welcome you home.

Dear Lynette, I am a niece of Susan Raybourn's and have been following your website daily since August. I read something this week that I just cannot pass up writing to you. I have two boys, ages 3 and 1, so the trials and joys of being a mother resonate with me. I found this book called "The 100 Most Important Bible Verses for Mothers" and read this the other day: (condensed somewhat) Isaiah 26:3 "You, Lord give true peace to those who depend on you, because they trust you." commentary, "As a mom, you rarely relax. You do it all. You are everything for your children...God has a very specific place of rest and it is just for you. That place is perfect peace...He will safely carry you and give you calm no matter how rough the waters of your life. Turn your thoughts continually to God. Do not give in to the stress around you, but trust and experience quiet calm." (pg.209)
peace to you Lynette, Sarah

Precious family: We all continue to pray, pray, pray. Will add to our prayers your directives!!! I pray God has not held on to your precious Sydney, only to let her go to Him for after this long, long battle here on Earth. Rather, return her to all who love and pray for her to become: whole, alive and a little diciple for Him!!!Her brothers are amazing and Sydney is holding them up as well as you Mom and Dad, just as Russell holds up when he is "down"---May God continue to touch you daily in all you do, say, think and feel. Praying as always, Nancy Baker et al

Praying for Sydney's healing and for strength and encouragement for all the Thweatt family. Your faith is such an inspiration. "So do not fear, for I am with you;do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
