Dear sweet Lynette. I just read your latest email. I cannot begin to express our(the Providence community)love for your precious Sydney. My heart is so heavy for you all,but I know that the Lord is working in you to show all of us how to live, how to have faith(when it seems so difficult) and how to be the most incredible mommy. Your faith through this journey of pain, confusion, and heartache has been such a testimony to me and my family. We love you all so much, and pray fervently for Sydney to be healed and for you to have the peace that only Jesus can bring. Love, Elizabeth Hurley

Keep fighting no matter what, may God bless all the efforts you have made, Sydney. You inspire us all in your constant perseverance and struggle for life and for delivery from the bondage that is physical pain. We are proud to know a young girl of your determination. Be sure that our love, the love of your family, your friends, and your God are all with you in this time of trial.
We love you, stay strong

Dear Family,
A few days have passed and I have thought of you and prayed often. The time is coming for the transplant and I know we are thankful that it is only two days from now. I pray for Sydney's lungs to be strong, her mind sound, and her body ready. It seems that the world is praying for this special child of God. I was reflecting on the word "wait" and how we spend all our lives waiting for one thing or another. This wait for the transplant has seemed at times an eternity and other times I can't believe the day has almost arrived. So we wait and trust that God has the perfect plan for Sydney. I will keep all of you in my thoughts the next fews days as we wait for news of the outcome. My love and prayers to the family. I remain faithful, trusting and waiting. Love, Patty

This is a special message for Johnson only!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DECEMBER 12!!!!
And here are some special jokes for your almost-Christmas birthday:
How much does it cost to buy one of Santa's reindeer?
It's "on the house"!!

What do you call a person who is really, really, really, really, really AWESOME at decorating a Christmas tree?
A "branch" manager.

Hope you have a great day!
Your friend,
AJ

Dear Sydney,

My little girl (who is not little anymore because she is 22 years old) sent me information about you. I am so glad that we met even though we have not been formally introduced. I will be going to the hospital as soon as they call me to donate blood or whatever they need for you. I know that you will be running around next year and that you will be healed because I have faith that the Good Lord will place his hand over you and take away anything that is causing you pain.

We have never met, but I heard your story from a friend. God is calling all of us to pray, whether life-long friends or complete strangers and it is a great privilege to go before the throne of grace on your behalf. I have been so touched by your website and encouraged by your faith and endurance in this trial. God is faithful. Though we don't know what He will do, we know who He is. In Christ, Carey and Chris Gidden

My friend, Catherine Burton, who was once our Bible Study/Prayer Group leader, is now a psychologist with a radio show. I wish I knew how to forward the email to you. She will end her show on Sunday by asking everyone listening to pray for Sydney's successul surgery Dec. 13 and her healing.
The broadcast is at 1:00 pm, KVCE, new station in Dallas, TX.
Many others of our friends are praying, too, and I know you have tremendous prayer support from so many of your wonderful friends and prayer warriors. God bless you.
