My children and I appreciate the update and are happy that Sydney is doing so well. I love to read and this book has more inspirational and heartfelt messages than any book that I have read. The inspirational scriptures/messages/prayers from concerned friends has helped my children in their walk. The honesty and vulnerability that James and Lynette write also help me and my children know that they feel the human element side that we all struggle with when things don't go exactly as we plan. Their strength is in the Faith of God. The Diary of Sydney with all of these writngs would benefit alot of people in their Daily Life. I know it has helped my children realize how important life is and how blessed we all our. The courage that Sydney and the family examplifies is truly remarkable and a testament to Faith.

I am in Texarkana today.

I check the website throughout the day and am amazed at God's Goodness! We embrace you with prayer's everyday and pray for Sidney's continued progress and strength. Even in our Sunday School class last week everyone talked about the "miracle" God has performed in her life.

We look forward to her moving to an apartment and return to Dallas in March. Let us know when and we will come for a welcome home party!

Love, The Giles Family

praise God for the beautiful healing work he has started in sydney!!! our family has continued to pray for you guys and we are thrilled for your family that our precious Saviour has blessed us with your testimony of faith and courage. He must have so very much faith and confidence in you guys to have trusted you with such a difficult walk. i believe there are certain people that God calls to walk extra difficult roads, because He has made them unique and special and knows there is a part of their heart that craves the closeness to Him that can only be experienced through this type of refinement. sydney and your family have responded to this opportunity beyond anything that our human strength could muster. it is cleary supernatural and holy. you guys are on our mind often and we will continue to pray and praise at the same time. many blessings from OKC.

I'm rejoicing in the Lord this morning for the great improvement in Sydney. It's been such a joy and privilege to pray for her and all of you every day. Thank you for keeping a web site so we can pray more specifically and effectively for her.

I will continue to pray for your requests and believe that Sydney will do all in her power to continue her healing ways, just as she has done up to now. She is a brave and strong little girl and will never give up.....she has already proved that.

If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.
Happy moments, praise God.
Difficult moments, seek God.
Quiet moments, worship God.
Painful moments, trust God.
Every moment, thank God.
Amen....
Love to all, Jan

Dear Sydney,
We are praying for you and I miss you very much. I wish you were still at school. I am so happy you have new white blood cells. Can you see the Statue of Liberty from your window? I heard you are saving Christmas for later. What are you wishing for? It's OK if you can't write back, I just hope to see you soon back at school. I'll continue to pray for you.
Love,
Sophie

James, thank you so much for keeping us updated as it means the world to hear and yet we are not bugging you with calls etc. It is sounding better and better about Sydney. She has Jesus in her heart and it is so rewarding to hear our prayers being answered. Thank you thank you. Please give everyone my love and tell Sydney as soon as she can see friends again I will be there to say hello!! Love to all, Suzy B.

I am sorry that I have not been more diligent about posting. I look at your website several times a day expecting to get something from you when I could instead be encouraging you. We are still walking with you through this. Your family is often on our minds and certainly in our prayers. We miss you all and pray that this time right now is the last 100 feet your boat must travel to shore after the storm. Frankly, I want Sydney to jump out of the boat and run on the water to shore. I pray this is God's plan. We love you.

Dear Lynette,
Since the Christmas Eve miracle, I have had a vision in my heart of Sydney continuing to walk along the path of healing. The Lord gave me this verse for you.

"Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, the God who is our salvation. God is to us a God of deliverances, and to God the Lord belong escapes from death." Psalm 68:19-20

Blessings to you dear friend. Give Sydney a hug from the Howards.
