I just read that Sydney had to be taken to emergency room this morning and the 7/9 update that she has been able to go back to the apartment. Jeremiah 29:11 - 12 " 'For I know the plans I have for you' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me and I will listen to you." I am praying right now that no hand will touch Sydney that has not already been touched by the Lord. I am praying for James and Lynette's peace in the midst of yet another storm. That the Lord will once again confirm His promise to take the Thweatt family to the other side safely.

With Christ's love and mine,
Cynthia G. Gammill

Hi Sydney,

I had the pleasure of flying with your grandma and grandpa today from Dallas. We spoke of the challenge that you going through right now. They also told me how wonderfully positive you are as well as how much they love you.

I want to let you know that my family and I are thinking of you and wishing you the fastest path to wellness.

Keep up the positive attitude and kick the daylights out of the sickness so that it never returns.

Howard, Jodi Josh and Matthew

Dear Thweatt Family,

I just wanted you to know that I am praying for Sydney and your family everyday. I am friends with Amy Alford and know "Big Sydney" quiet well also. She is a hoot! I am Amy's Arkansas friend she met at the U of A.

I only know that I can't imagine going through what you all have been through, but I am so grateful that you have such a strong faith. That is, I am sure, the only thing that is sustaining you during this hard and trying time.

Little Sydney looks like she is a true fighter and I know with the Lord on your side, things will all work out!

Remember there are lots of people praying for your ALL!

In Christ's Love,
Cara Cavender Wohlgemuth

Dear Thweatt's,
We love you and are praying for you daily; we're so thrilled Sydney is home from the hospital and you are all together! Our prayer is that the Lord would grant his abundant mercies to you every moment of every day; we have learned much of the Lord through you, and we pray that He upholds and strengthens Sydney and the rest of the family physically and spiritually. Thankfully, we serve an omnipotent and gracious Lord who knows our every need and desire and who hears the prayers of His people. We love you.

I am so happy to finally see that you are out of the hospital. I have been watching your website and was concerned because you hadn't posted an update recently. I teach with Aunt Becky and am so glad that she is there to cheer you up. She is one of my favorite people at Clark H.S. Her caring spirit is such a blessing, but I know that you all know this. Please tell her hi from me. You are in my constant thoughts and prayers.

Dear Lynette,
Again and again I am in awe of your strength and faith. I am so happy that Sydney is out of the hospital and that your boys and others are there to lighten up the day. May God bless you. May God give you continued strength. May God give you peace in your mind, in your heart and in your soul.

I was reading my devotionals today and several pearls of wisdom stood out. If I could copy the whole devotional I would.

"There is no burden so heavy that when lifted cheerfully with love in our hearts will not become a blessing to us. God intends for our tasks to be our helpers; to refuse to bend our shoulders to carry a load is to miss a new opportunity for growth." J.R. Miller

"No matter how overwhelming, any burder God has lovingly placed with His own hands on our shoulders is a blessing." Frederick William Faber

"The burden of suffering seems to be a tombstone hung around our necks. Yet in reality it is simply the weight necessary to hold the diver down while he is searching pearls." Julius Richter

We continue to pray for God's strength and peace to be with you daily. We pray for complete healing and restoration. We also thank God for you and your faithful example of walking with him through the fiery furnace. You are not alone - He is there with you in the midst.

Love,

Keep fighting, Sydney! God isn't finished with you yet! You are an amazing little girl and I would be proud to call you daughter. For your Mom and Dad: Your faithfulness will be rewarded. Never forget, even when things are difficult, that Jesus is sitting with Syndey, holding her hand, crying with you that she is going through this. His love will conquer all. I keep updated from Holly Logic on a website that we visit, and I think of Syndey and pray for her recovery and for your strength often. May the Peace of our Lord be with you all, amy
