3777 - The Hickersons
Tuesday, October 2, 2007 05:51

We have prayed for you all this past year and a half and were so sad to read about sweet little Sydney yesterday morning. I know you may not remember us from Providence , but we have come to love and care about your whole family and have felt very honored to be able to be a part of your lives through prayer these many months. We will keep praying for you all, lifting you up to the One who loves you best. There is no way to count the number of lives that have been affected by you both, Sydney, the boys and your whole family, although of course, we had truly hoped for her to be able to stay here with you all for much longer. Our deepest sympathies to you all, and sincere love and caring for your whole family.

Love,
Lauren, Todd, Jacob, Benjamin and Zachary Hickerson

My heart aches for you, yet I cannot begin to fathom what you are going through. We shall continue to pray for your family.

"WHO will give me tears ? Come, all ye springs,
Dwell in my head and eyes ; come, clouds and rain ;
My grief hath need of all the watery things
That nature hath produced : let every vein [drink] up a river to supply mine eyes,
My weary weeping eyes, ..." [from "GRIEF" by George Herbert]

Yet, praise be to God because Sydney has completed both parts of her two-fold journey: she has glorified God, and now she will enjoy him forever.

My heart goes out to you all. This was an amazing journey. Being witness to your faith and the support of friends and family will remain as we celebrate Sydneys time with us. I pray for your strength and continued faith.
Much love! Jennifer

Today, I have shared tears with friends you have not yet met, but who love Sydney and have been deeply touched by her life and the faith you all have lived out and shared so honestly with us all.
We are heartbroken for your family. We will continue in prayer and as Lynette encouraged us all in her last letter, we will trust Him even though we do not understand. (Proverbs 3:5&6) We love you ALL! Susan and Steve

Jesus said, "let the children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of Heaven."
What a privilege Jesus had in greeting Sidney. We are heartbroken for you all. We love you and you will be in our prayers.

Please know you have all been in our prayers and continue to be. We know Sydney is with the Lord and free of pain. She is celebrating and those left behind are suffering. God is there always and will sustain you through this very difficult time. Our condolences and prayers.

I was heartbroken this morning when I got the email from Wendy. Every day I wait to see how to pray, how Sydney is doing. She is dearly loved and will always be remembered by me. I can see her beautiful face happy and pain free in the arms of Jesus. I pray he will be closer than ever before to all of your family, carrying your grief and pain. The Summers family loves you all dearly.

Our prayers are continously with you. Our hearts are breaking but rejoicing with the angels in heaven that Sydney is truly home.
Isaiah 54:10 "Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed says the Lord who has compassion on you."
