Hello from Atlanta, GA. I learned about your site through an email a friend sent me with a Mom-e-Moments story. On July 19, 2005 our daughter was diagnosed with a Wilm's Tumor in her left kidney. Almost a year later, she is cancer free with an excellent prognosis. I will pray for your daughter and family to have the endurance, strength, and faith for the journey ahead. Many hugs for your family in this difficult time. Please let us know if there is anything we can do!
Blessings to your family, Kim

Dear Thweatts,
We're so glad to hear the great news that the bone marrow test showed no cancer. We're also glad that you all are back home now. We continue to pray for Sydney and your family every day. Your courage and faith is so inspiring to all of us!

James and Lynette

Our family has been praying for Sydney and following her progress. We are so pleaded to hear the encouraging news.

Our daugher, McCall, is having her 11th birthday party soon, and she would like to have her friends make a donation in honor of Sydney instead of giving her birthday gifts. She wanted to have them make donations to the Make A Wish Foundation. I thought I would check with you first and see if you have had any contact from the local Make a Wish chapter, or if there was another organizion that you and Sydney would prefer.

McCall hopes she can meet Sydney then next time that we are back in Dallas.

We will continue to keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Praise the Lord for the healing he has done in Sydney's body and for raising up the 2 donors who match her perfectly! The details and the timing for the NY trip with also work out in His perfect timing for Sydney. The Lord will take care of you in NY and the boys in Dallas when you are apart. I was meditating and praying on this verse for you tonight:
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

Hello Lynette and James...Becky informed me just recently about sweet Sydney.
I am so grateful that God's loving arms appear to be around you all in a mighty way.

Reading your memos/postings...God's hand is evident. Bringing that certain family to visit you at the hospital with the daughter who had just celebrated a year cancer free just at the VERY moment you needed encouragment... His perfect timing! This thread is repeated again & again as I read through what your days have been like since her diagnosis.
What a cute picture of Sydney. You gotta love her spirit and spunk! I am praying for her and for your specific prayer requests for her and for the entire family and for her health care providers too. How wonderful it is to have these professionals helping. I will keep checking in and praying for her complete healing.
Sincerely, Debbie

Dear Sydney,

We are very happy that you are out of the hospital. I am very happy for you Sydney. I'm glad that the Lord answered ours and your prayers. We are thankful that you are out of the hospital. I know that you are very happy to be home. I hope you won't have to have any more tests and I hope that you are free from leukemia. I hope you don't have to go back to the hospital anymore and I hope you will get to see your nurses again. I hope that you will not have to have a bone marrow transplant. We will be praying for you more, Sydney. I hope that you will get better soon.

Love, Sam

We are praising God for the wonderful healing he has brought to this beautiful girl, His precious daughter! I am reminded of one of Daniel's favorite verses: Jer.29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. " All glory be to God on high!

I waited patiently for the Lord, he turned to me and heard my cry....he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord. Psalm 40:1
