I found out about Sydney via Sharon and Laurie. I check the website every day to get an update. What a brave little girl. I have a daughter who just turned 8 and I can't even imagine what you all are going through. God does give us strength. Please know that I pray for Syd all the time.

Our son Jacob went to Providence in enrichment with James. Jacob is now at Cambridge with his older sister Rebecca. I know you may not remeber me but we are praying for you all. We are believing for the Lord to continue perfecting that healing He has already begun in precious Sydney.

James and Lynette - We saw Jack at the mall on Friday and visited briefly with him. My first thought was how tall he has gotten. My second was how he seemed so calm and at peace talking about Sydney and how she is doing.
There are so many people here who care about you and Sydney and your family - people who don't even know you, people who have been touched, inspired, strengthened, and moved by your courage and faith through this ordeal.
Last week, one of the men in our Sunday School class, a financial advisor who does not even know you - told how he and several colleagues have begun reading about Sydney on a regular basis, and how touched they have all been by her and your experience and your faith.
We love you and are praying for you daily - as do so many others. Our family prays for you every day, and our class prays for you every Sunday. We pray for Sydney, we pray for the specific needs that you share with us, and we pray for a miracle. We pray that you will be coming home soon with a healthy little girl, and we pray that whatever happens, you and Sydney will be completely engulfed in the love of God. - Brian H.

Hi Lynette and James, This note is from my neighbor. His granddaughters often come to visit my girls. I thought it would encourage you.
"Too often we take the good health of our loved ones for granted. This crisis in a young one's life makes us thank our Lord for the blessings of health. I pray that Sydney will be blessed with a more normal life in the near future. Wouldn't that be a real Christmas present? In fact, isn't that, in part, what Christmas is all about... new life?"
That's what we're praying for--new life for Sydney. That's the Lord's specialty in more ways than one!
