Our son, Noah, who is Sydney's age, is at Children's Medical in Dallas right now. Different problems than Sydney, but as parents, we have a new appreciation for what you are going through...the desire to see your child well, the pain of watching your child struggle with procedure after procedure...it is only the Lord who sustains. It is so comforting to be able to fall into His arms and know that He is always there to catch us. He will provide. He always does.

Hi Lynette, James, and Sydney!
I am thinking about you and praying that tonight you are feeling God's loving arms wrapping around you and that you are being strengthened and comforted by Him. Take care of yourselves! Love, Carolyn

Sydney, James and Lynette,
You all don't know me, but I am a Watermark church member and have been reading the prayer requests on the Watermark click and pray. I've been praying for all 3 of you, especially you Sydney and just wanted to take a minute to encourage you.

I can't imagine being in your shoes. I admire your strength and faithful hearts towards the Lord. I pray for a good report from the biopsy and that there is not a need for a G-tube. Keep drawing on Him for strength for each day and remember Matthew 6:30-34.

Blessings,
Sharhonda

Hello Sydney! We are praying for you! As you know, God has a plan for you! You will be able to show others your faith and trust in the Lord, in such a trying time in your life.

May you ALWAYS trust the Lord, even when things seem the darkest. There is a song we sing in church, Blessed Be your Name. I thought about that song, when I was reading the prayer request for you. And, in the song, there is a phrase; even when the darkness comes, blessed be your Name! The Scripture that comes to mind is James 1:2-4.

And know, as a child of God, we are praising Him for His love, mercy and healing, and celebrating your accomplishments! Proverbs 3:5-6! Keep the FAITH! David

Dear Lynette and James, We know how very tired you must be with so many challenges to face every day and that you are missing your precious boys, but we also know that your faith is unflagging. We pray for Sydney to be well enough to leave the hospital very, very soon.
We pray for Sydney's complete cure, for the Lord to continue to give you strength and for the entire Thweatt/Huffines family to come back home to Dallas, healthy and as soon as possible. With love, Aileen & Jack Pratt

Sydney and the whole family just continue to be in our prayers daily! I am so thankful for the amazing miracles that have gotten her here today and I pray feverently that the Lord will just wrap Sydney up in His precious hands and heal her, physically and mentally from her tough battle!
In Him,

We continue to pray for ALL of you every day. We can only imagine how challenging each day is for each of you, please forgive us when we say or do all the wrong things, or at least miss your deeper needs. I see Johnson every week at basketball practice with AJ and his other team mates. I couldn't help but note how tall he is getting, and those tennis shoes looked as if they could rival my own size. Your boys will all be stronger, better men for their families and for Christ because of the sacrifices they have had to make. No parent likes to see, hear, or imagine that they missed or neglected any part of their lives, but I know from my own experiences with my boys that they often do famously, despite what they may tell you. I pray this time between you will make you love and appreciate one another so much more when you are reunited. II Thessalonians 3:16 "May the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all tmes and in every way. The Lord be with all of you."
Please encourage Sydney to eat from this family of people who think constantly about their next meal. I am praying that she will experience the miracle of food that stays down, and Trust with every bite that it is working to nourish every part of her body.
Take care. Enjoy God's blessings.
Love,
Mary
