Lisa is a friend of mine (fellow volunteer at Scottish Rite Hospital) and as she is away from her computer today she asked that I check in with your web page and report to her by phone. I just gave her a report. Know that both of our prayers and thoughts are with you and your sweet daughter. May God grant without measure his grace and strength to all of you.

I am praying that the Lord will send his angels to carry Sidney through this. Psalm 91:11 says "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone." I claim that verse for Sydney and your family. Know that there are many many people praying for you all and God is going to work a miracle in your lives.

At this moment, Daron, the kids, and I are all filled with sorrow. Your family has been in our thoughts and prayers daily. This news is devasting, I don't really want to believe it. Dear James and Lynette,

We have, and will continue to pray for healing. I am sure all are asking God for what words they could say or what things they could do to comfort you and your family during this time. It is apparent that you are relying on the real comforter, and the only one who has ever had the ability to do anything. God knows all about this situation. I am encouraged James by your words of transparency, and abiding faith. It is a choice to trust and obey. I know of no harder trial, and am proud to know you and your family. May the watching world continue to marvel at the peace that surpasses all understanding, that you and Lynette are beautifully portraying to a confused and lost world. Prior to reading the news this morning Douglas and I felt called to pray fervently for Sydney- The Lord laid on our hearts again that nothing is impossible for Him. We reflected on the story of two farmers that needed rain- One prepared for the rain he needed God to send and the other did nothing- You are preparing for the rain by doing everything you possibly can for her!!! We are lifting her up!!!!! May God be glorified!!!! The Maclays
