My children (7 year old Robby & 4 year old Zachary) have been praying for Sydney & your family since last June when we first heard of Sydney's illness from the "2 Mom's" singing group. Like many times when I read your entries, I wept when I read your last entry dated August 21st & I just wanted you to know that Sydney has touched the heart of people she has never met through her courageous spirit. We will continue to pray for complete medical healing for Sydney & that GOD continues to give your family strength, wisdom & courage. Many many Blessings from, Sherri Panttaja & boys, California, USA.

Dear Thweatts, We do not write here often but we do think of you and pray for you often, as do so many, many, MANY others. Please tell Sydney that when she gets home, if she would like to do this, we are going to get the supplies (they are nontoxic now!) and show her how to paint silk scarves for all her wonderful, kind friends from the hospital. Maybe ties for the men instead of scarves! :) We hope that will be an idea that will cheer her up a bit as she combats the wicked fungus. Our love and prayers, Sally, Bob, Alice Ann, and Steve

Lynette and James, we are praying for you! "Your ways, O God, are holy. What god is so great as our God? You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples." Psalm 77:13-14. We are boldly asking for healing!

Father, I thank You and praise You for the walk that Sydney was able to take. Continue doing a good work in her body. I lift Lynette up to You today, Father. How weary and drained she must feel--the tiny highs and the deep lows that they have experienced--I can't imagine. Father, You sent a special angel to Mary to instruct and comfort her when you chose Her to bear Your Son. I ask that You provide Lynette with the same comfort and peace that Mary had--hold her tight right now--she needs supernatural strength to continue. Be especially with James also, Father, as he tries to be a rock to the family. I ask that you provide Him with peace and strength to carry on. Most of all Father, I ask for good results on the MRI, and that Sydney can get back to the business of recovering enought that she can go home. You are the God of miracles, and we can see them happening here with this family. These things I ask in Jesus name Amen
