I wanted to share something I read today in my devotional. It's from Psalm 84:5-6, "Blessed are those whose strength is in You...As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs."
Then it says that "comfort is not given to us when we are lighthearted and cheerful. We must travel the depths of emotion in order to experience comfort-one of God's most precious gifts."

We pray for your sweet family to experience God's precious gift of comfort.

Hey, just a quick note to let you know that I saw this and am praying for all of you.

In our service this last Sunday, we were refreshed with this knowledge from the Scriptures: These sufferings are temporary, but work in us a weighty, eternal glory.

That's the hope that we have and can truly rest on.

Fears come and go, and there is a trap in becoming fearful about being fearful. Keep your eyes on and trust in Jesus. With him, those fears may buffet and batter at you, but they will not prevail.

We will be praying for the things that James has mentioned and for your travel to NY soon. James, God is molding you into quite a leader for your family - thank you for sharing your heart with so many of us. We love you all, Sheri Johnston
