the above site is my grandson's. Your cousin told us about your site and I just wanted to say there are so many prayer warriors out there and without God we would not find each other so easily. I will be adding Sydney to our prayer list. Fighting the cancer Dragon is hard, and you need warriors to back you up when you get to tired to fight. We are here to bear one another's burdens, I don't think any of us knew exactly what that meant until diagnosis. Now it has been completely revealed to us. Believing without seeing, we are here voices in choris singing prayers of healing. Your precious child is lifted in prayer. Know that.

Praise the LORD!!! Sydney, we are so, so happy that you got to go home and that you are feeling so much better! We are still praying for God to continue to heal you completely, all the while we are praising Him for the amazing things He has done! I love the verse your mom put up yesterday, Joshua 1:9, it's one that we sing all the time around our house! Sending much love and continued prayers from Beth, John, Haynes (7), Annika (5), and Greta (3). :)

This is the last thing I thought I would be reading today about Sydney. My heart has been touched to read about her. Yes our prayers will go up to our Father and He will answer.
My search was to find M.F. Williams (The Good Shepherd Fellowship Ministry) address and his sceretary was in 1997 June Thweatt. If you are anyone knows this address please send it to me. May God continue improving Sydneys health. How lovely she is to the Lord.

Dear Lynette, I am choked-up and teary-eyed reading your last update. You have walked through this valley of the shadow of death trusting in our Lord. You have experienced His tender care, His unfailing love, His mercies which are new every morning and blessed us with your testimony. I can't even begin to fathom how God will use this in Sydney and the boys' lives. Thank you for abiding in Christ and strengthening us by your words and deeds.
I start teaching in a couple weeks at Dominion Classical Christian Academy. The model of care and comfort I've read of your Providence family is one I fully intend to copy in our school. It has been difficult to be so far away and unable to "do" anything except lift you before our Lord. But, I loved knowing you & your family were taken care of by the body of Christ.
Love to you and all of yours, Ann

August 16, 2006 James and Lynette, You do not even know me. We are a Providence family. I just want you to know how the Lord has placed you on our hearts this summer. We have prayed fervently for you and precious Sydney. I regularly check this web page and appreciate so much knowing exactly how to pray. You are a beautiful light shining for Him. He has truly glorified Himself in your family this summer. In what could be very dark circumstances, He is shining brightly and it is a great privilege to see how He has loved and cared for you day by day. I came across a verse this week and could not help but think of you and the way you described your departure from the hospital--realizing how He had cared for you and been your joy.
"The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you with His love; He will exult over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17
You are His joy. And He is at work in you and your precious family. Please know that He is leading many people in the body to pray for you.

Dear Lynette, Sydney and family! We are praising God and rejoicing with you! We thank the Lord for the answered prayers for energy, encouragement, strength, being at home for the start of school! How great is our God. The wonderful update reminded me again of the beautiful verses in Isaiah: The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:28-31 " Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord." 1 Timothy 1:2 Love and prayers, nancy and family

It was great to hear the good news at the back to school night and to see Lynette at Providence today. We have been praying all summer for Sydney and your family. The two weeks at home will be a breath of fresh air and a good time to rejuvenate the bond with each other and the Lord. May God bless your time and the next phase in New York. Your steadfast reliance on Him continues to be a blessing in our own family - an inspiration to all.
