Sydney, I am douglas maclay's sister...i have heard alot about you lately and what a sweet, funny girl you are. I am praying everyday for you that God would heal you and care for you..."For I know the plans i have for you, says the LORD, plans to prosper and not ot harm you, to give you a hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11. This verse helps me make it through difficult times and I know it will help you...We love you!

Love the photo! Sydney, you look great! I am so very proud of you; we ALL are. I thank the Lord everyday for you and for His protection over you. You're Awesome!

Dear Lynette -- I think of you so often! How you've dedicated yourself to seeing your precious daughter -- your whole family -- through this ordeal. I wish I could wrap my arms around you; just give you a big hug and whisper encouragements in your ear. You're doing great! The Lord is working through your hands and feet and words and prayers. You are such a willing servant of His; I've always seen that in you! Truly an inspiration! Sincerely, Jenn

Dear Sydney,

I have been thinking of you and praying for you so often. The children in my Enrichment class are also praying for you! Your parents are right when they tell you that soooooooo many people are praying for you.

Tomorrow will be my first day not to have school. It will be strange not to get up and go to Providence tomorrow. All of the nature study animals went home with different families from Providence for the summer vacation. Last week all of the children and all of the animals on the hall were gone. It was very quiet. I missed seeing you and your friends! When it is fine for you to have visitors, I would love to come and see you and read you a book. Reading is one of my favorite activities. I hope you are enjoying having your mom and other relatives read to you. I got to see the picture of you in your tent. That looks like a great place to snuggle and read books!

May the Lord hold you and keep you.

Love,
Mrs. McWhorter

I am glad to hear that Sydney is finished with the chemo. She sounds like a real little trooper. I'm still praying for her and the family.
God is still in control. He will continue to see each of you through this difficult time.
It will be wonderful to see the plan He has for Sydney's life.

To God Be the Glory.

Linda

I think about Sydney and look for the entries everyday. I continue to pray for the requests each day and have added Lauren to the list.Amazing how resilient children are or could it be the Lord working through her. I do pray she can go home soon if that is the plan. God bless all of the Thweatt and Huffines families to remain strong and faithful.

Lynette and James- We are thanking the Lord with you for answered prayers and His faithfulness. Every story you share about Sydney make us smile and gives everyone great hope, the Lord is her strength.
The Lord is my strength and my shield: my heart leans on him and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise him! Psalm 28:7
We will continue to pray- Tom and Beth

Dear Lynette- Hooray for finishing this firt round of chemo!!! I cannot tell you how I rejoiced when I read the number of potential donors for Sydney. God is so gracious! I know Sydney will fight this infection quickly and her numbers will go up so that she can make it home for a while. She is a true soldier.

Dear Thweatt family,
We continue to hold Sydney close to our hearts. We pray daily for her complete healing,
in and through the power of Jesus Christ who told us to "fear not."
Of course we are praying for your entire family, as well.
May all of you continue to find strength in the Holy Spirit. And may Sydney know that Jesus is right there with her every minute.
Your friends in Wimberley,
Diane and Francis Savage
(Amanda and Anna's grandparents)
