We can't even imagine what you all are going through but it is obvious that God is right there with you. Sydney, you are in our thoughts and prayers and just stay strong as you have for so long now.

Dear Lynette and James:
It was with great sorrow that I read your most recent update on Sydney. I check it every day as I pray for you, hoping that the fungus has gone and your beloved daughter has been restored to health. She is in God's hands, whatever the outcome. Know that you have done EVERYTHING on earth any parents could possibly do for their child. As you have shared Syndey's journey I have been awed by the strength and courage ALL of you have displayed. You have been faithful witnesses to the love and power of Jesus Christ and I'm positive many lives you have touched have been changed by your example. Our family is with all of you in prayer tonight. We are praying that our Perfect Savior will sustain Sydney tonight, tommorow and the days to follow. We are praying that He will restore her completely. We are also praying that you will find confidence, peace and rest in Him.

In my quiet time today, the Lord led me to this scripture and all I could do was think of you guys and pray this for you!

"We have a strong city; God makes salvation it's walls and ramparts. Open the gates that the righteous nation may enter, the nation that keep faith. You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord, is the Rock eternal."

Words seem inadequate at this time. All I can think to do is sing in my heart all of the Jesus songs I know. What a friend we have in Jesus, Turn your eyes upon Jesus, He will lift you up on eagles wings, bear you on the breath of heaven and many more. When I don't know what to pray it helps me to think of all of these wonderful songs that have such great messages. Sydney has touched a lot of lives this past year. I pray for God's comfort, strength, peace, compassion and loving tenderness to surround your family.
