Sydney and Family:
Glad the lung surgery has gone well. You've gone through quite a long ordeal and are bound to be exhausted. This has been quite a hurdle you've gotten over, and my thoughts/prayers are with you all.

Dear Thweatts,
It was so good to see you all the other day and to see Sydney's sweet smile. Tell her I will send her the pink dress we bought her in China town. I love all of you and am constantly amazed by your courage. You are always in my prayers. Praise God for T-cells!!!

I just don't have words to express what I am feeling as I read about Sydney's surgery and continued battle. She is an amazing child and you are an amazing family. I don't know Sydney, though I feel I do, but I love her and pray for her and your family. Please Lord, heal this child...in Your name.

The poem is amazing. Brought tears to my eyes. I am so thankful Becky can be there and dedicate her time for support and love. She is amazing!

Dear Family,

Praise God that our prayers have been answered once again. I thank him for watching over Sydney and the family during surgery. I thank him for wonderful parents like James and Lynette, who have remained strong through every storm that has been brought their way. I thank him for giving Sydney the courage, strength, and complete faith that she would be fine. I thank him for another day of having her in all our lives. I thank him for the unbelievable doctors and nurses that care for Sydney each day. I thank him for the courage he has given us all this past year. We are rejoicing with tears of joy to hear of the successful surgery, Sydney's determination and your continued faithfulness. The poem by Sydney's cousin helped us so much to understand all of this better ... it's like a storm that is unpredictable, but in the midst of it there is so much beauty and the obvious display of God's power ...

Our whole Fullinwider family is going on a trip together in a week and we're planning to do family devotionals each day. Sydney will be at the top of our prayer list each day!!

We were at the ceremony at A&M for the new regents when we heard of Sydney's battle. Please know that her name has been lifted up in my prayers. Jan Owen at Highland Park Methodist Church has given me the background on Sydney. She sounds like a brave young child!
