We are overcome with thankfulness at your news and continue to pray for Sydney and all of you. You are a light for the Lord!

"Then I thought, 'To this I will appeal: the years of the right hand of the Most High.'
I will remember the deeds of the Lord, yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.
I will meditate on all your works and consider all your mighty deeds.
Your ways, O God, are holy. What god is so great as our God?
You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples.
-Psalm 77:11-14

You are constantly in our prayers!

Dear James & Lynette- We check in everyday for updates. Thanks for being faithful about all that. Surely it must be difficult to put into writing all the trials and strong emotions that you are facing on a daily basis. We appreciate knowing how best to lift you up in prayer.

And to James, a heartfelt "Happy Father's Day". You are a pillar of strength for your family.

Happy Father's Day to James. I hope that at some point today you were able to have all the children in one room together with you and that your best gift was Sydney having a good day. What an earthly example of a beloved father you are to all of us. Once, again I would like to thank both you and Lynette for sharing this very personal journey with all of us. We are praying that today is a good day. Love Dee Ann

Dear Sydney, Lynette and James,
Our prayers continue for Sydney and know that God has already healed her and that she is a light upon a hill for the hospital staff and others around her. We pray Psalm 91 over your whole family and claim every work, particularly "dwelling in the secret place of the Most High," "He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler," "He has given His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways, and "I will be with you in trouble, I will deliver you and honor you, with long life I will satisfy you and show you my salvation." We love you all and can't wait for Sydney to come home. The glory of the Lord shines all around Sydney. :)

Hi Sydney! I wanted you to know that the whole bus (55 people!) prayed for you and your family as we traveled all over the Holy Land. Cousin Haley took my picture putting your name in a crack in the Western Wall that surrounds the old city of Jerusalem. It's the place where people from all over the world come to pray. I'll print a copy of the picture and send it to you. Sending you lots of love, Aunt Ann

Dear Lynette,
Please know that we continue to pray for all of you many times throughout the day. Sydney, God continues to wake me in the middle of the night just to pray for you. Thank you for your updates; we are grateful and thank God for the answered prayers and welcome the opportunity to pray for your specific prayer requests.

Sydney, I know you cannot have visitors just yet and I am aware you really want to start our art lessons. I have a special surprise for you that will allow us to begin our art lessons without my being there. On Monday afternoon, I will bring your first two art lessons and leave them right outside your door. Would you like a little hint? Have a restful weekend and may God bless you sweet Sydney.
Love, Mrs. Elledge --hint: glue, gem stones, pencils, and crayon twist-up sticks!!
