Sydney,

Mrs. Bryan and I are sure that the Lord Jesus Christ is standing beside you daily. He is ahead of you in every step, beside you in every need and blessing you with every good gift.

We love you dearly and have been missing those wonderful afternoons at the end of the Providence school day when you would glide by us in precious barefeet comfort.

May God return to you the joy you contibue to give us with your bubbly spirit.

Our children at John Knox School are chearing you on in prayer this week.

Dear James,
You said:"I felt alone and lost today" I Cor. 4:10;
"when I heard the cancer was back. I told God I need to hear from him, be comforted by Him"

Good James! For His word says HE is the God of ALL Comfort 2Cor.1:3 (that is ALL, not some or most or a high majority, but ALL)!
"and be guided in how to lead my family. This plea has sometimes gone unanswered or at least it seemed to"

Read GÇ£FootprintsGÇ¥ GÇô when He seems to GÇ£not answerGÇ¥ it is because He is carrying you in His arms GÇô close to His heart!

"I told Him I would tell you all how I was doing whether it was good or bad,"
Again GOOD for you! HE is STRONG when we are weak GÇô He has placed brothers and sisters in Christ all around you to Stand in the Gap for you when you can't seem to do it yourself GÇô Moses had Joshua GÇô You James and Lynette have US GÇô it is OKAY to be (feel) weary GÇô We are here under girding you both and GÇ£holding YOUR arms upGÇ¥ for you GÇô So rest my dear friends God has made provision GÇô GÇ£Come unto me all who are weary and heavy laden and I GOD will give you rest!GÇ¥.
James said "I am afraid I was kind of threatening Him in a covert way. Basically, I think I was telling Him I am going to tell on Him, if He doesn't take care of me."
And HE smiled and liked your spunk GÇô gee I wonder where Sydney gets it??? James, this is the whole point! HE wants you to tell GÇ£onGÇ¥ Him to us, your Joshua, so we can uphold you so You can tell GÇ£aboutGÇ¥ Him through your circumstances to all who need to hear (see) about Him through how you walk! The great news is YOU do NOT have to GÇ£do itGÇ¥ God says in Phil 2:13 GÇô GÇ£for IT IS GOD who WORKS IN YOU to WILL and to ACT according to HIS purposes.GÇ¥ Paul says us in 2 Cor.12:9 GÇ£But God said to me, GÇÿMy grace is sufficient for you, for MY POWER is made PERFECT in your weakness.GÇ¥

GOD your Source of Comfort:

ISA.51.3 GÇô GÇ£The Lord will surely comfort GÇÿJames and Lynette' and will look with compassion on all your ruins (and pain); HE will make the hard and dry places like the Garden of Eden, all the waste-lands you have traveled like the garden of the Lord. JOY and GLADNESS WILL BE found in (the heart of) James and Lynette, THANKSGIVING and the sound of singing and REJOICING!!!GÇ¥

Psm.30:5(b) GÇô GÇ£His favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, BUT REJOICING comes in the morning!GÇ¥

You are so dearly loved, held up and close and brought before the Throne of God CONSTANTLY GÇô Thank you for the privilege of standing with you in Faith in GOD, the MIGHTY one of Israel GÇô Who was, and is, and will be FOREVER!!!
Jodie

Dear Thweatt family,

I know of your family through my mom, Mary Somerville. Please know that I am praying for Sydney, your family, and the Castilla family daily. I hope that you find encouragement in the fact that a couple in Pittsburgh, PA are praying for you. May God's peace be with you.

You are in the palm of God's hand and held tightly by Him. I am praying for Sydney's complete healing. That no hand will touch her that has not been touched by the Lord. For Lynette I am praying that those who surround you will bring you peace, strength, encouragement and blessings. The hand of the Lord will be upon you and them. For the family - to feel His arms around you as you continue to trust in the Lord and see that He is good. For the donor - for the Lord to keep His protective hand on this person so they will be healthy and available when Sydney's body is ready for the transplant.

With Christ's love and mine,
Cynthia G. Gammill
Sydney's 3 yr. old BSF Children Leader.

Lynette

I am an elder at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship and want you and Sydney to know that she and your family will be lifted up at our prayer night this evening! My nephew battled the same disease when he was a bit younger than Sydney and he is now a sophomore in college!

In Christ alone,

Dear Sydney,

I'm thinking of you today. I pray the LORD will show you great mercy and touch you with His healing hand.

Have you memorized any verses lately? I'm working on Isaiah 53. Maybe you can listen to me recite it sometime.

Today the sun is shining outside and the gentle breeze reminds me of the gentle presence of the Holy Spirit. I hope you sense His presence with you.

Love,
Miss Stutts

Dear Ms. Sydney-

I just wanted to say 'hi' and tell you how proud I am of you. You are so very brave and strong. Praise God for the way He made Sydney! I miss you and still check in on your website everyday hoping to catch the next update as soon as it's up. I look forward to playing violin with you again. (I will always keep a lesson time open for you on Wednesdays. It's still there and it will be until you're back!) You were born with a natural talent for music! You know, God gives each of us special talents and circumstances in our lives so that we can bring Him glory. You bring Him SO much glory, my sweet! With you, God is very pleased!

Much love,
Ms. Jenn
