Lynette,
I have been crying with you, I have been praying with you, and now I am rejoicing with you at each praise.

You and James are constantly in my prayers. YOu are both such a wonderful testimony to Christians and NON-Christians.

Thank you for sharing your life with me. I will forever be a devoted prayer partner/shephard with you.

Please give sweet Sydney a huge hug from Mrs. Miller and Matti. We miss seeing her!
We will be returning to Texas in less than 6 months and I hope to have you all back in Dallas-fully & miraculously healed.

Lynnette-IF you ever need a chat-call me on my cell-D

Dear Sydney,
First grade isn't the same without you. I've been praying for you. I hope you get better. I wanted to send you a joke, but I can't find my joke book! I wanted to make you laugh. Well, here's an old joke: Why did the dinosaur cross the road? ... Because it was the chicken's day off.
Another one: Why did the monkey step on the banana? ... Because he wanted to do the splits.
Take care, William

Dear Lynette,
This wonderful old hymn, along with Psalm 91, has come to mind often when I'm praying for you: Leaning on the Everlasting Arms. A few phrases that are encouraging: What a blessedness what a peace is mine Leaning on the everlasting arms. Leaning, Leaning, safe and secure from all alarms. I have bless-ed peace with my Lord so near, leaning on the everlasting arms.
Warmly, Anne Nowlin

James & Lynette -
The Fifth Grade at Covenant prays daily for Sydney. Casey, our son, is believing God for a miracle and trusting in God's complete care for her and you! It has been a sweet time to allow all of us to pray together for Sydney each day. It has blessed us beyond measure to read and walk with you day by day! Thanks for your transparent descriptions of the struggle. It helps us bring those needs before the Lord. Lots of love!

Trusting the Lord to do what is best in our lives is an amazing journey. I am so glad I found your website as I am blessed everytime I log on by the prayers and verses of you and your friends. It is a wonderful season of the year to see God's hand at work. We all celebrate this gift of life for Sydney. Our love to all of the Young family. We continue to pray for Sydney.

This verse is near to my heart for Sydney Psalm 27
"The Lord is my light and my salvation- whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life - whom shall I be afraid? When my enemies and foes attack me (pathogens), they will stumble and fall. Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear, though war break out against me, even then will I be confident. One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. For in the day of trouble he will keep my safe in his dwelling; He will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock. Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me;at his tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy;
I will sing and make music to the Lord....I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord;be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."

We send our love to Sydney,
Brad, Michelle, Blake, Brandon, & Beth Copeland

Have been following your blog from Ohio about your very courageous daughter and am constantly moved to tears, though we've never met. I have a son the same age and cannot imagine how extraordinarily hard this must be for all of you. Please take comfort in knowing you have been adding to yet another prayer tonight!

Praise God!!! I'm rejoicing with you that Sydney was able to have the transplant. My prayers for Sydney are that God will continue to be glorified through her life and for her complete physical healing. Thank you, Lord, for the gift of intercessory prayer!!! I'm amazed at His desire for us to be partners with HIM in prayer. Thank you, Jesus, for your love and care for Sydney and her family. AMEN!!!

We are rejoicing for the answered prayer that you posted tonight! I am praying that the Lord, Who knit Sydney together in Lynette's womb, will knit her together now- knitting the graft bone marrow into her bones as if it is her own. That she will begin to produce healthy bone marrow cells of her own. That she will be strengthened mightily and healed completely because we know that NOTHING is impossible with God. We will continue to pray!
With love and thanksgiving to God,
Debbie Van Wagoner

Today at church the message from the pastor was: JOY! I join you in your JOY as you watch miracles unfold from Sydney's bedside.
One of my favorite things to hear Moms and Dads talk about is the birth of their children. Each story, from conception to delivery, is miraculous. No story of the beginning of life is ever described as "unremarkable". I just grin when I later see these same children playing in a soccer game, sitting at chapel, running, laughing, etc. and I rejoice in knowing that I am watching a living miracle! I can't wait to enjoy that same feeling when I see Sydney restored to good health. Thank you, God, for your grace and for answered prayer.
Still praying and believing,
Mary
