James & Lynette, how I wish I had known y'all were back @ Children's. I was there until 8:45pm last night with Brooke (Dara's daughter..now mine)she was having an MRI. I would have tried to see you. I prayed hard for y'all while I was there with Brooke and then I met a couple who just found out their 4 yr. old son's cancer came back, so she asked me to add him to my prayer.
You and Lynette are strong servants & give me strength. My family prays for you everyday. Love to ALL of you!

It is very late, but I just read all of your past letters since May. Through my tears I am awestruck at the incredible power of the holy spirit, and soooooooo grateful for your inspiring faithfulness. Please know that my family too will be praying for all of you, and thinking of you daily.
Much, much love always,

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Our prayers continue.
Much love, Dana

hi sydney, i am a good friend of susan escos in oklahoma city, and our family has had the awesome priviledge of praying for you recently. when i read that you were going around the hospital in your barbie scooter, i have to admit i was a little jealous. i am a barbie fan from way back and i mean way........back! my best friend and i use to sit for hours and do their hair and change their clothes, and then we would get really bored and cut all their hair off. can you believe that i have three girls and none of them ever liked to play with barbies, i just couldnt understand it. you just sound like such a blessing and i sure wish i could get to know you, but please know that there are so many people in oklahoma city praying for you and thanking God for the healing that has already begun. many blessings, sandy brooks

I read your website in tears of hope, love, and prayer. The Lord is so faithful, and although I do not know your family, I am committed to praying for each of you. Your wisdom and trust in the Lord has taught me and I am encouraged and challenged in my own walk.
May the Lord bless you. I pray that you will continue to trust in him and know that he is God!!
I love you and please give eachother a hug!

I am grandmother to Hollis and James Tardy and am connected to you and your site through the Tardys. I am praying for Sydney and for her family. I have also shared the need for prayer with a friend in San Antonio who, as an adult, has gone through a similar situation to Sydney's. Her name is Kathleen Whitten and she is praying too. 9/7/06
