Sydney, You should have heard the prayers that were prayed for you and over you this morning in Faculty Prayer at Providence. YOU are High and Lifted Up. You dear one are our littlest angel and just like in the story your gift of love and endurance is most precious to our Lord God. How you train us and inspire us! You are treasured and dearly loved! Standing with you expectantly with our eyes plastered on Jesus!

Lynette and James, I drove my little art carpool on Friday and experienced a precious moment. Claire Johnson, Sarah Stone, Christine Sorrels and Anna Clarke Harrison were in my car after school. They were all full of information about Sydney! They had obviously been in prayer for Sydney at school that day....they sounded like a mini medical team! Shortly thereafter we sat down for lunch and offered thanks to the Lord. I wish you could have heard the sweet words that were lifted up for your precious one by these little friends. You are loved, and being blanketed in prayer! Sleep soundly tonight. Much love, Michelle

I sent out my annual Christmas letter on Friday. I have asked everyone who I know from my many years in the BSF Young Adult class, college friends, family member and other friends to pray often for Sydney's healing. My BSF children's prayer partner, who prayed for Sydney when she was in my class is lifting her up daily to be free from pain and stress as well as the family. That the transplant will be successful. I know the Lord has lead you to New York and He has a plan and purpose for Sydney to be there. May God's goodness and mercy follow you and Sydney all the days you are there and throughout each day of your precious lives.
With Christ's love and mine, Cynthia G. Gammill

Dear Family, James and I just returned from a weekend in Dallas and I must share with you that eveyone we saw the entire weekend wanted us to know that Syndey is in their thoughts and prayers. I think the whole city of Dallas is in her court and constantly asking about her and praying for her. I continue to trust that God has her in the palm of his hand and is guiding her through this. How else can that precious child be upbeat and so rational about her situation? When all of us all doubtful and fearful for her, she remains constant in her faith and trust. I thought about all of you in NY and missed seeing you, it was not the same. I am constantly thinking and praying for a miracle, for the chem to clear her up just long enough for the transplant, and for the tranplant to be a complete success. My love and heart remains faithful. Patty

Spent time today appealing on behalf of your precious daughter Sydney to our Father's most amazing and all-encompassing trait, His unfailing mercy. We can count on His mercy, our faith is based on His mercy, we know He loves to show mercy, and that His mercies are new every morning. Praying you feel and see His mercy on you and your loved ones today. With heartfelt and sincere love for you in the Lord, I wanted you to know that I am sharing your burden as a mom and sister in Christ.

We are encouraged by your strength and dependence on God for peace. It is amazing to read your thoughts and hear how God changes your hearts to rest in Him. We pray Syndey will be fully healed very soon!

Sydney, My wife, Holly, and I are good friends with your Aunt Marcee and Uncle Grant. We live in Fort Worth, and they are two of the best friends we have. Holly and I have three year old twins -- a boy and a girl. Their names are Robert and Lottie. Of all of the great gifts Jesus has given us, they are the best. I want you to know how important you are to Holly, Robert, Lottie and me. As their daddy, I have always wanted to get them excited about praying to God with me every day -- not just to repeat a prayer I say for them, but to really talk to God and thank Him for the gifts He has given them and to ask Him for the things they want.
All four of us had the best time walking for "Team Sydney" in Fort Worth a couple of months ago with your uncle Grant. During the walk we were each given a bracelet with your name, Sydney Myna Thweatt, on it. Mine and Robert's are orange and Holly's and Lottie's are purple. Every night before Robert and Lottie go to bed, we thank God for everything He has done for us, we apologize for things we have done wrong, and we always end with the same thing -- we look at our bracelets and remember to thank God for you, we pray for you to get better and we thank God for bringing you into our lives. A lot of times, we will pray on our own for you during the day and will thank God for the strength He has given you and for the inspiration that you are to us. We know that what you are going through is tough, but we also know that you are tough! One of my favorite Bible verses says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Just seeing your smile on your website and hearing of your joy, determination and happiness reminds us each and every day how true that verse is. I know we've never met, but Holly, Robert, Lottie and I want you to know how much we love you, how much we are praying for you and how much we thank God for bringing you into our lives. You are truly an inspiration to our whole family.
Much love,
Robert, Lottie, Holly and Rob Lydick

Not one moment passes without YOU(Sydney and Thweatts)living in my heart thoughts & prayers!
As we "Bear one another's burdens,we fulfil the law of Christ!" (Gal 6:2) And "What shall we then say to these things? IF GOD BE FOR SYDNEY, WHO CAN BE AGAINST YOU?" (Rm.8:31) SYDNEY(and Thweatts)Stand on this!God said:"I will NOT LEAVE YOU Comfortless:I WILL COME to YOU!"(John 14:18) My(our)heart's longing and constant pray for you Dear, Sweet Sydney is "Mercy unto YOU & PEACE & LOVE be Multiplied!" (Jude 2)and I(we)cry out to the Lord day and night without ceasing"and HE heard our prayer and HE answered us." And finally my dearest Beloved Sydney and Thweatts I (we)cry out with you "Hear us O LORD; for Your LOVING KINDNESS is GOOD!turn to SYDNEY according to the MULTITUDE of THY TENDER MERCIES!"(Psm 69:16) Hear us O Father GOD in the hour of our need; Hear us Lord Jesus and we cry out to You without ceasing!!For Your Word tells us "THOSE WHO WAIT FOR THE LORD(who expect, look for and HOPE in Him) SHALL CHANGE and RENEW Your STRENGTH and POWER; SYDNEY YOU SHALL LIFT YOUR WINGS and draw CLOSE TO GOD as EAGLES(mount to the sun);SYDNEY SHALL RUN THE RACE AND NOT BE WEARY, SYDNEY SHALL WALK THE PATH BEFORE HER AND NOT FAINT OR BECOME TIRED!" (Isa.40:31) James and Lynette,(vs.1)"Therefore let us strip off and throw aside EVERY ENCUMBRANCE (every unnecessary weight or burden)which so readily clings to and entangles us, and LET US RUN with PATIENT ENDURANCE and steady, ACTIVE PERSISTENCE the appointed course of the race that is set before us,(vs 2) LOOKING AWAY from ALL that Distracts us from JESUS, WHO IS THE LEADER and the SOURCE of our FAITH, and is also its FINISHER"(bringing our Faith to maturity & perfection) (Heb.12:1&2)! You are loved and lifted up constantly without ceasing. God's multiplied blessing to you all!

Hi Sydney and Thweatt family! I love seeing your sweet smile on your photos. I have printed a few of them and took them home to look at you when I pray for you all. I'm sure you know all of us at Providence are praying very hard for you. We all love you very much. Keep that great attitude and smile. You are beautiful. Pat Sissom
