Keep fighting, Sydney! God isn't finished with you yet! You are an amazing little girl and I would be proud to call you daughter. For your Mom and Dad: Your faithfulness will be rewarded. Never forget, even when things are difficult, that Jesus is sitting with Syndey, holding her hand, crying with you that she is going through this. His love will conquer all. I keep updated from Holly Logic on a website that we visit, and I think of Syndey and pray for her recovery and for your strength often. May the Peace of our Lord be with you all, amy

I just wanted to encourage you with two verses I just read - 1 Peter 4:1-2. "Therefore, since Christ has suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because he who has suffered in his body is done with sin. As a result, de does not live the rest of his earthly life for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God." What a great blessing for Sydney and your whole family! You have blessed all who have come in contact with you. Thanks for sharing your suffering with us. Susan

I wanted to share a card I came across. May the HANDS that formed the earth touch your body and heal it. May the BREATH that moved over the waters fill your soul with life. May the HEART that sacrificed to save you surround your heart with comfort. May knowing that you are in the hands of an all-powerful, all-loving God bring you peace. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. (Isaiah 40:29) The Smiths (So sorry if this comes in multiples. Not sure what happened to the first attempts!)

I read this beautiful devotional this morning and thought of you. It was written by Ann Melson, a sweet girl (recent A&M graduate) who leads a 7th grade girls' bible study for our daughter Hannah and her friends.
"His Everpresence" "I am your heart's deepest desire. When you call my name, I am there. As you whisper prayers of concern, I am listening. As you plead for relief, I am healing. When you shout offerings of praise, I am rejoicing. When you drift to sleep, I am sustaining you. When your eyes shut at last, I am awake. For I will never leave you nor forsake you. You need not fear tomorrow, for I am already there."

To the Thweatt family, I just wanted to let you know that we are still praying several times a day for Sydney and the rest of the family. I know it has been harder then i can even imagine; but your family is a great example to anyone else who is in any kind of similar situation.
Love Trace and Kaylie

We are thinking of and praying for each one of the Thweatts today (in rainy Dallas). I know I don't type a note often but you are in my thoughts multiple times each day. Praying for the Lord to make order of chaos and heal sweet Sydney. Praying for each of you to persevere with His help. Love and blessings, the Tardys

Thank you for the update. Sydney and the Thweatt family are constantly in my thoughts and prayers as well as my parents who ask weekly about how Sydney is doing.
I had the opportunity today to share James original email on Jesus calming the storm and briefly Sydney's story. It made the crisis that one of the companies I am working on a major deliverable put some perspective on how God is sovereignly in control of all aspects of our lives, including our business deals.
Your family's willingness to share your joys and trials speaks volumes to many people especially those of us who check daily the website to see how the Lord is working in Sydney and your family lives.
Happy a blessed 4th of July.
With Christ's love and mine, Cynthia G. Gammill Sydney's 3 year old BSF Childrn leader

Hi Sydney, Did you know you are known here and I'm sure in many parts of the country? At our church, the speaker told about you and asked for prayer as we had asked him to do. Afterward, a man we hardly know, came to us, told us he already knew all about you and your family. He had heard of you from his grand children, who live in Dallas and go to Providence. Small world, isn't it? The huge number of people praying for you is wonderful and Jesus hears everyone of those prayers. We hope and pray you will soon be completely healed and go home to Dallas. May God's grace and peace be with you and your family. Love A. Jeane
