Hello Thweatt Family,
I was with Betsy Philen Hardy this past weekend, and she was just keeping me up to date with what is going on with your precious family. Mom and I are sitting here reading your latest news, and we are praising God and his miracle that He contines to provide you all. Mom thanks you for the note you sent and we are praying for you. Your family is precious and it is evident that you all are ever faithful to our merciful God even in this most difficult time. We love you! Courtney Florance Lurton

Hello Thweatts! Just letting you know you are loved and still prayed for. I was just thinking of you the other day when a friend was challenging the existance of modern day miracles. Sydney is a miracle. I can point to her and say look what God is doing in the lives of the Thweatts and how He is touching others daily with their faithfulness. I am so sorry to hear that Sydney is still struggling so, but glad to hear that there is improvment. I say once again that Brian and I are here for anything that you need. We can bring food, do laundry, take the boys to a movie, whatever you need. Please call or e-mail.

Thweatts! How we miss you all here in Dallas! You are in our hearts and heavy on our minds CONSTANTLY. When you are weary - even too weary to pray, rest on OUR prayers. We trust that the Lord will uphold you and uplift you when you don't feel you can carry on another minute. You are loved! I was reading some conversations on s.c.s. and stumbled upon some messages about Sydney. I'm so sorry she is having to go through this. Her story has touched my heart. Sydney will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Sydney has certainly endured more than any average person, but I remain confident she will make the complete recovery and will some day be back in Dallas yelling at those brothers in the backyard. (which I really miss that sound. I really thought I would still be next door when she got home but we have decided to avoid all the realtors knocking on the door, people walking the lot and move to Florida near Fernan's brother. I look forward to Sydney's updates on the website and will also miss Easter's updates. My cell phones will remain unchanged and for some reason if I end back in Dallas or perhaps move back, I will call you. The new neighbor (Kay's lot) has two little boys and little girl about 4 yrs old, but I think the oldest boy is 8. They built crawl spaces above the kids bedrooms that connect the rooms. Looks like it would be quite fun.
Well, Sydney, with all the faith of all the family and friends, I know you will sooner or later be on the plane back to Dallas. I anxiously await to read the news on the website. I also believe the power of preyor and of course, a little credit to the good doctors/nurses, works miracles.
We keep experiencing this again and again. Keep in touch, Karen

Our family was away on vacation for 2 weeks, and we prayed for your family everyday, many times a day, and couldn't wait to get back to hear how Sydney is doing. Your latest news is so encouraging, and yet, our hearts are aching that you are having to wait and wait. We feel so strongly that Sydney will be completely healed, so we will pray especially for patience and peace during the waiting. We're pulling for you!! Thanks for inspiring our family to enjoy each other more, to be better sports about everything, and to celebrate the simple things in life.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I only have a glimmer of an idea of what you must be going through. My (adult) older brother has mantle cell lymphoma and has had similar side effects/infections. May you continue to have strength and wisdom in this difficult time. Peace.

Dear James and Lynette,
I am a friend of a friend, and have being reading Sydney's site and praying for your family since December. My heart goes out to you for the struggles that you are experiencing, and I pray for the day when Sydney is home and well with all of you.
I also pray that you continue to be lifted up by His grace so that you are able to continue enduring with such selfless faith during this difficult time.
Thank you for sharing and for giving us the opportunity to pray with you. Watching the Lord work in your family is truly a blessing.

Dear Lynette and James-
Thank you again for keeping us informed of Sydney's progress. Though we think and pray for her everyday, we sometimes lose sight of the specifics. As always, with this brutal disease it is little steps for little feet. I know having the entire family there is an amazing boost for Sydney and Lynette. I also know that the attitude of the boys is in no small part a reflection of their parents. Your both continue to be such an example of Christian parenting to us all. We praise God for the reduction of the fungus and the gvhd. I pray that today is a strengthing day for Sydney and Lynnette. Much Love, Dee Ann

I have been praying through Isaiah 43 for you. It is all so beautiful but here is just a sweet portion. "But now says the Lord, he who created you, O Thweatts, he who formed you, O Thweatts; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you and through the the rivers they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through the fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. I was hoping to see an update on how Sydney is tolerating the drug for the fungus and any other updates.

I was reading over the weekend Malachi and ran across Chapter 3 versus 1-3 that talks about the Refiner's fire. The Refiner's fires purpose is to burn away the dross (impurities)to purify the silver. The silversmith knows the perfect time to remove the silver from the fire - that is when he can see his image in the silver. You are in the Refiner's fire being purified to reflect Christ's image to a watching world.

I continue to keep Sydney, Lynette and the Thweatt family in my daily thoughts and prayers.
