Hi Lynette,
It was refreshing for my soul to read your update tonight in hearing of how the Lord continues to lead Sydney down the path of healing. Our prayer team here at Providence is continuing to pray for Sydney and you specifically that you would have the Lord's strength, His wisdom, His creativity and that He would preserve your body to be strong and healthy as you care for Sydney. We are rejoicing in her renewed spirit and healthy appetite!

Love
Wendy

Dear Sydney,
We just prayed for you this morning. Did you know that we are being homeschooled this year? Well, it's a little like what you are doing with your Mom, I bet. It's really cool to be with your Mom and have her teach you neat things, like from the Bible. We also like learning about history and fun stuff about our country.

We hope you are feeling better and that you are getting stronger each day. We will keep praying for you, ok?
Love,
Luke, Sarah Peyton, Annie and Will Ellerman

We pray that God reassures you that He is in control, and that He will renew your spirits as you carry out your difficult daily demands.
Love and prayer,
Mary

I am so happy to hear that you are outpatients and that Sydney is having fun doing "kid stuff" again. I will pray for complete healthy growth of the bone marrow and complete recovery for Sydney. I will pray for you, Lynette...that God will give you time with Him, restore your strength, give you rest, encouragement, and peace of mind and guidance as you administer the medications to Sydney and perform your many acts of service for your daughter and family. James, I pray that God will strengthen you mentally, physically and spiritually as you minister to your family and help them see the big picture. Praise God for the big picture!

Taken aside by Jesus, To feel the touch of His hand; To rest for a while in the shadow Of the Rock in a weary land.

Taken aside by Jesus, In the loneliness dark and drear, Where no other comfort may reach me, Than His voice to my heart so dear.

Taken aside by Jesus, To be quite alone with Him, To hear His wonderful tones of love 'Mid the silence and shadows dim.

Taken aside by Jesus, Shall I shrink from the desert place; When I hear as I never heard before, And see Him "face to face"?
(from "Streams in the Desert" by Mrs. Charles E. Cowman, copyright 1925
I hope you are "taken aside by Jesus" many times in these weeks of transition so you may feel his constance presence and love. Janet

Dear Family,

It is with peace and great joy that I continue to read about Sydney's recovery. She is an amazing young child that has experienced so much. We are so thankful to God for his many blessings in this life and he continues to bless all your family with positive and good news. I am sure at times that it is hard to see beyond what you are experiencing at the moment, but for those of us on the sidelines it is miraculous. We see huge steps where you might only see small baby steps, only because you live it everyday. Lynette and James, I admire your wisdom and beliefs and can only say that you are the best parents in every way. You have had to deal with the unimaginable, while we deal with the mundane things. While they say the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, let us all remember to thank God each day for the baby steps that occur or for the beautful sunrise that we are all lucky to be here and experince. My love to the family and especially for Sydney's continued recovery. My prayers of complete recovery and that you come back to Texas soon continue. Love to all, Patty

Lynette- all you are doing is for the glory of the Lord. Think of Brother Andrew who honored God while washing the dishes....He is there for you when you have a "quiet minute" he is also there when you are to busy to stop. You are my hero...you are amazing....maggie

To all of the Thweatts,
Praise the Lord! Sydney, you look fantastic. Your hair and mine is almost the same length. Only difference is mine is white! I am home since Jan 22 and it is wonderful. Vallecito is beautiful and white, but now very deep.

Can hardly wait until you can visit. Lynette, you are doing the Lord's work with the medication, IV care and administration, as well as lessons. Time is short, so just say the Jesus prayer. He will e instandly with you and refresh you.
I am walking 1/2 mile twice a day and sometimes 1 mile all at once. Am going to try to ski in March. Love to you all, Linda

Hi Sydney! I hope you are having a good day. Baby Eli is doing just great and he scares me at how strong he is already. He lifts his neck up when I am trying to burp him and he is only 9 days old!! Steven, Lawson, Eli, and I love you and your Mommy very much.
Love, April
