Continuing to pray during the night for you as the Lord prompts me. It is so exciting to think that at all times, day or night, someone is praying for Sydney. Our God is an awesome God!
As you prepare for New York:
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
Deuteronomy 31:8
Love you all!

Dear Sydney and Lynette-
What a wonderful picture of Sydney. For a minute I thought it was a doctor standing there. Maybe it is a picture of things to come. Wouldn't every sick person love to have such abeautiful and cheerful doctor- especially dressed in pink!

I know it is a long journey and it is so natural to feel weary. Marshall always says "little steps for little feet" Hang in there. Every day is a day closer to wellness.
We pray for you all often and have full belief in Syndey's recovery. Love Dee Ann and the Paynes

Much Love,

Dear Thweatt Family!

We are thinking of you and praying for you throughout the days... Lynette, your wisdom and faith are an inspiration to me.. Through this, you have made me a better person... watching how you have handled this tragedy with such strength, grace and faith in the Lord has made an indelible impression on our family and in our faith, as well...

I know the Lord will not let you fall... He will carry you in His loving arms and stengthen you until you are able to walk on your own again.

We love you very much and pray Sydney will fight this infection and be stronger for it.. Also, tell her she looks absolutely beautiful in her pink scrubs!

Dear Lynette and James,

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I have asked the Lord to prompt me to pray for you and Sydney (and the rest of the family). I choose to believe He has brought you to my mind when you are humanily weak and need prayer to sustain you. He is so faithful and I see Him in his promptings. They occur at odd moments for me and therefore I pray more fervently knowing He is directing my path. So how exciting to know as He is directing me in prayer, He is in charge of Sydney, the doctors, the staff and your family. In your weakness He will carry you. Continue to lean on Him and we will continue to pray for you and yours.

Love to you all,

Gina Lu and Scott Petty

Lynette and James,
Hearing the news that Sydney was back in the hospital, I felt your great disappointment. It reminded me when I got the call from the doctor to take Colby back to the hospital immediately for his jaundice. I hung up the phone dissolving into tears saying, "I just want things to be normal!" I am sure your feeling for that is magnified ten times and my heart just aches for the journey your family is having to walk through right now. I pray for you to have daily renewed strength, energy, and patience.

Saying or singing this every morning right upon waking often helps me during tough times especially when I'm not feeling it at the moment. "This is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it." I am saying it for me and now for you each morning!

Dear Thweatts,

We continue to pray daily and are rejoicing that God is answering our prayers to wrap His arms around you. What an incredible joy it is to hear His voice and see His provision! We will continue to pray over the requests listed. Thanks for taking time to update the web page. John says Hi to Johnson. We would love to have him to play while you are in New York.

Sydney looks fantastic and healthy...we love the picture...the hospital stay may just be God's way of ensuring her strength for the journey/plane ride/germs along the way to New York. Let us know when you'll be at Sloan-Kettering so that we can get you hooked up with Dr.Oeffinger. We continue to pray for sweet Sydney.

My dear Lynette, James, Jack, James, Johnson and Sydney,

You are never far from our thoughts and prayers are on our lips. The Lord will sustain you.
God moves in a mysterious way
His wonders to perform;
He plants His footsteps in the sea,
And rides upon the storm.
You fearful saints, fresh courage take;
The clouds you so much dread
Are big with mercy, and shall break
In blessings on your head.
Judge not the Lord by feeble sense,
But trust Him for His grace;
Behind a frowning providence
He hides a smiling face.
His purposes will ripen fast,
Unfolding every hour;
The bud may have a bitter taste,
But sweet will be the flower.
Blind unbelief is sure to err
And scan His work in vain;
God is His own interpreter,
And He will make it plain.
We love you,
Susan, Kyle, Zach, Michelle and Scott

Lynette,

To my knowledge we have never met, although we have many mutual friends. From one mother's heart to another GǪ please know GǪ

I am praying that the Lord has you wrapped in His loving arms, reminding you how much He loves you! May you know His presence in such a greater way as you surrender yourself completely to His perfect plan for Sydney and your family. May you know your heavenly Father was (and continues to be) in control of all the details, knows exactly what you need (whether or not you can see it), loves you in a greater and more infinite way than humanly possible by another human being, that He brought you into this world (fully aware of what you would be going through at this moment) with a plan to mature you His way (not yours), and that as long as you trust yourself to Him ... there will be blessings as you journey the road He is asking you to travel. While your heart is aching and Sydney's physical body suffering, the blessings and grace you will receive are beyond measure. May God grant you the peace to rest fully in Him for all your needs and that of your family as you seek to glorify Him in the process!

I am praying for you to be blessed with extra measures of His patience, peace and endurance as you faithfully await His revealing of His plan for Sydney's life, that He might gift you with many "treasures" along the way. I am praying for a joyful countenance as you seek to be obedient in all that is asked of you. May He multiply your joy, provide bountiful rest, draw you closer to Him daily as brings healing to Sydney's body! Always remember, you are a beautiful reflection of our living Lord to all He places in your path. And, sweet sister, you are greatly loved and treasured by the Most High God!

On bended knee before the Father on your behalf,
Sherry O'Hearn
