Hi Lynette, I forgot to mention that I just finished the "Shattered Dreams" Bible study that I gave you a copy of. The Lord gave me a verse during that study that I wanted to share with you. It is so powerful: Psalm 34:18-19 "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in Spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."
You are the "righteous" my sweet friend! And what a promise--He will deliver you out of all your afflictions! All His promised are "YES" and "AMEN!"
Love Wendy

Hi James and Lynette, My prayers are continuing to pour forth for you and your precious Sydney. I am still praying that the Lord will make it clear to you in your hearts if He has completely healed her and you do not need to make the trip to NY for the transplant. That has been on my heart to pray for almost 2 months now. We love you all and are here for you in any way you need!
Love Wendy

Lynette,
Angela called me and told me about her new job at West Dallas and also about Sydney's diagnosis. I do not know if you knew, Andrew, my middle son was diagnosed with ALL when he was 4. He is now 13 and doing very well. I just want to let you know that I know some of the difficulties you and your family are experiencing. There are many ups and downs going down this road. Please know that I am praying for your entire family!

Dear Thweatt Family,
You're on our hearts and minds so often, and we're still praying every day for Sydney and your sweet family.
I wanted to share a little story from Corrie Ten Boom's "Prayers & Promises for Every Day." May it serve as a reminder that the Lord knows our needs -- large and small -- and delights in meeting them.
I will tell you something that happened when I was a prisoner in a concentration camp with my sister, Betsie. One morning, I had a terrible cold, and I said to Betsie, "What can I do; I have no handkerchief."
"Pray," she said. I smiled, but she prayed, "Father, Corrie has a cold and she has no handkerchief. Will You give her one in Jesus' name, Amen."
I could not help laughing, but as she said, "Amen," I heard my name called. I went to the window, and there stood a friend who worked in the prison hospital.
"Quickly, quickly! Take this little package; it is a little present for you." I opened the package, and inside was a handkerchief."
Thank you for encouraging all of us with your stories of answered prayers and how, over and over again, He has made His presence such a reality. We'll continue to pray with expectation and look forward to seeing His miraculous interventions in the matters that lie ahead.
Love to you,
Betsy, Rob, Bentley, Grayson, Spencer and Rebecca Borrego

Lynette and James, Sydney and your family continue to be in our prayers. "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior." Isaiah 43:2-3 Our love and prayers are with you. The Farrows

We are so sorry to hear how difficult things have been these last few days. PLease know that we will be praying fervently that Syndey turns this corner so she is able to travel comfortably this first trip to New York.
" I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me...surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."--Psalm 23:4,6

Hey, Sydney. I'm friends with your Aunt Marcee, and I saw her today. she said she is the luckiest person to be your aunt! I want you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers. And I want to thank your Mom and Dad for being so specific in prayer requests. I feel it helps people like me when I talk to God about you. I look forward to meeting you in person when this difficult time is in the past. Suzy

Hello sweet Sydney! I just want to tell you that I am thinking about you, and praying for you and your family! You are so tough kiddo, and there are a lot of people learning so much about faith in God and a joyful attitude from you and your family. When you come to NYC, have your mom let me know what stuff you guys need! I live up here you know, and I would love to bring you some stuff from the city!! Maybe from your room you'll have a neat view of the buildings. Hang in there kid. Here's a joke for you - How much does it cost a pirate to have his ears pierced? - A buckaneer!!!! Later! - Ashley

Many thanks and much praise to God that Sydney has turned the corner. I know Sydney's numbers will start soaring and you will be asking her to get back into bed before you know it. Even though this is the expected course for the disease it is still the first time it is happening to you. It is hard to be in the midst of the battle- yet all of you are handling this chapter in your life with amazing grace.Thank you again for sharing this journey with us. We will be on our family vacation when you head off to NYC> but please know that we are with you in heart, mind and spirit and will continue to pray for Sydney and the entire family wherever God takes you. We hope today gives you a reason to smile!
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will go with you wherever you go. " Joshua 1:9
