Praise the Lord!!!! Sydney, we are so happy to hear that you are feeling better! My girls still pray for you every night. I hope one day we will get to meet you! We love to go swimming in your Aunt Marcee's pool in the summer time! At my Bible study we say, "God is good, all the time! All the time, God is good!" That is SO true! You are a living example!! Keep on running the race He has set out for you! I just know that you are bringing the light of Jesus to so many people! Your faith encourages so many of us! Thank you for that! Sending lots of love from Fort Worth!! :)

Great news!

I wanted to share something that happened this last Sunday in Sunday School. We have been studying Esther and were covering chapters 8, 9 and 10.

One of the men in our class (Bruce, a 23 year cancer survivor) mentioned isn't it amazing how God worked thorugh all these events and delivered the Jews through the decree that King Ahasuerus made and how God worked through Esther to accomplish all of that. Bruce mentioned that we have actually seen that recently with the miracle in Sidney's life that it looked so bleak in October, but God worked through all these events and how she was healed through the bone marrow transplant.

I sat there in amazement and looked at the beginning of Chapter nine, verse one. " Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month of Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same. ..." and I realized that on December 13th is when Sydney had the bone marrow transplant. I told our class and everyone was in amazement how this date was a date of that gave Jews the right to defend themselves and it is also the date where God performed the miracle in Sydney's life.

God is so good!

Love the Giles family,

Lynette, Thank you for this encouraging update. Your straightforward transparency has been such a ministry to me as I've been privileged to walk beside you in prayer, my friend! James is holding down the fort so well at home, and your boys are as dear as ever - although they miss their mom and sister. Their steadfastness is a testimony to your excellent parenting - they have not departed from your training. (Prov. 22:6) My prayer for you today is Prov. 4:25-27) "Let your eyes look directly ahead, and let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you. Watch the path of your feet, and all your ways will be established. Do not turn to the right nor to the left; turn your foot from evil." We love you and join you in praising the Lord for Sydney's health! Love, All The Mighells

Our family will continue to pray daily for the strength you requested. We praise God for the restoration He is establishing in both of you. Your journey has been so honest and a testimony of faith to all of us who have traveled with your family. We will pray that Sydney will restore the joy in her heart and find blessings each day to make her smile.
We love you all, Gary, Cara, Caroline & Chase

Hi Lynette,
It was refreshing for my soul to read your update tonight in hearing of how the Lord continues to lead Sydney down the path of healing. Our prayer team here at Providence is continuing to pray for Sydney and you specifically that you would have the Lord's strength, His wisdom, His creativity and that He would preserve your body to be strong and healthy as you care for Sydney. We are rejoicing in her renewed spirit and healthy appetite!

Dear Sydney,
We just prayed for you this morning. Did you know that we are being homeschooled this year? Well, it's a little like what you are doing with your Mom, I bet. It's really cool to be with your Mom and have her teach you neat things, like from the Bible. We also like learning about history and fun stuff about our country.

We hope you are feeling better and that you are getting stronger each day. We will keep praying for you, ok?
