My name is Andy Malhiot. Sheron Malhiot is my mother, and she called this morning with the news that Sydney had gone home to be with the Lord.

I am sitting here, my eyes filling up with tears, thinking about all that your family has been through. I have three children of my own, and I cannot imagine the pain you are feeling right now. My prayers are with all of you today, and forever.

I know that Sydney is rejoicing today in the arms of her Lord and Saviour!

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." Revelation 21:4

Dear Family,
I have been praying for you.
Your response to God's purpose for Sydney's life has been a blessing.
My heart is knit with yours and today it broke.
May our Comforter wrap you in the Love and Grace of God.
Looking forward with you for the Joy coming when we are all reunited at Home with the Lord.
May your suffering be relieved.
With Love,
Michelle

"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the LORD, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'"
- Ps. 91:1,2

Lynette and James,

Knowing that precious Sydney is completely healed and comfortably resting in the shadow of the Almighty, we pray that your sweet family will trust and take refuge in God, our Mighty Fortress.

We are so saddened by your loss and will continue to pray that He will strengthen and uphold you with His righteous hand.

He is our trustworthy refuge.

Love,

The Hornbergers

Like 100's of people who knew Sydney but had never met her, my arms are reaching to you all...mine, from Memphis. (to remind: my nephew, Will--Ann's student-- in Atlanta, sent Sydney the 'colorful blanket'). I mourn your deep grief, but look foward to meeting your wonderful Sydney one day

Sincerely, Robyn

We grieve over the loss of Sydney. It is beyond anything we can comprehend. Her faith was lived out loud until the last moment, and will live on in us and in future generations.

Faithful to all He promises, in a short while, you will be rejoined - in glory - forever and ever.

May the words and promises of this old hymn bring solace to your soul:

"In Heavenly Love Abiding"

"In heavenly love abiding, no change my heart shall fear;
and safe is such confiding, for nothing changes here.

The storm may roar around me, my heart may low be laid; but God is round about me, and can I be dismayed?

Wherever He may guide me no want shall turn me back; my Shepherd is beside me and nothing can I lack.

His wisdom ever waketh, His sight is never dim;
He knows the way He taketh, and I will walk with him.

Green pastures are before me, which yet I have not seen; bright skies will soon be o'er me, where darkest clouds have been;

My hope I cannot measure, my path to life is free; my Savior has my treasure, and He will walk with me."

Lynette and James,I know it will be more than painful to leave this place you have spent this past year and more. Those you have touched and touched you will forever be a part of the canvas of your mind. All part of God's eternal plan. Try to focus on where Sydney is NOW, she is no longer in her flesh, she is now in glory, free of this life and its affliction. She is victorious over death because of Jesus, and she is in heaven with Her Bridegroom.

We love you so deeply -- beyond words,
Brad, Becky, Luke, SP, Annie, Will

Oh Perfect Love, Christ Jesus,
You have shown yourself so intricately through Sydney's life. Thank you for your Holy Spirit Who continues to move in us and counsel us.(John 14:16-17) What's more, is that your Holy Spirit helps us in our prayers when the right words are beyond our spoken language to fully describe and express our emotion of all the many facets of Sydney's journey.(Romans 8:26) Sustain Lynette and James, Jack, James and Johnson by your powerful word.(Hebrews 1:3) Show your love to them in the days ahead as you remind them of all the beautiful qualities in Sydney that point to how you uniquely shaped her heart. In your precious name, Lord Jesus, we pray.

Dear Thweatt Family,
We have thought of you often the last few days and continue to pray the Lord will bless you with beautiful memories of Sydney throughout your day.

Arlene
