Dear Ones, We continue to pray without ceasing. You all are amazing in your desire to rest in God's sustaining grace and peace.
Here is an Amy Carmichael poem a friend shared with me recently.
" Leave it to Me, child, Leave it to Me. Let slip the burden Too heavy for thee. That which I will, My hand shall perform; Fair are the lilies that weather the storm."
We love you!! Karen Koop

I know you don't know me, but my name is Mary and my daughters name is Mary Ann. I am Jan, Kay , and Cliff's aunt. Ask your Granddad Jack about me, I have been staying with your Granny Young at the hospital, helping her eat her meals and just talking with her, to pass the time, so she will not be so lonely. just wanted to say we are thinking about you, and hope you will get to come home soon. love mary and mary ann

I am a friend and neighbor of Sharon's. She has been keeping us posted of Sydney's progess. She is a beautiful little girl. It's so awesome to hear how God is working through your family. Please tell her that we are praying for her. My little six year old has a very tender heart for this sort of thing. He will love to include her in his prayers. I am thrilled for the "miraculous" news. God Bless!

Sydney-- We think of you everyday and I am constantly reminded of your strength and perserverance. My mom constantly is praying for you with us and reminding us that anything is possible when you have faith in GOd. It seems like you have amazed everyone- your doctors, nurses, family, friends-the list goes on...Everytime I think of you I think of the verse, Jer 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans to prosper and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." Keep on perservering you will never understand how AMAZING and CARING God is, he loves you and has a purpose for you and your life...Keep on fighting-We love you- Meredith, Claire, Douglas, Harriet and Doug Maclay

Dear Thweatt Family, I have been keeping up with all the events going on with Sydney thru Gail Tomlinson. Remember that you all have the three "F"'s in life; Friends, Family, and most important Faith. You all have been at the top of my prayer list. Tell Sydney that I am looking forward to seeing her again and having our great conversations. Everyone at Children's is with you and praying for Sydney's recovery. Tell Grandma Sydney and Becky hi for me.

I pray God's miracualous blessings be showered upon you and your family. I have an 8 year-old daughter,Henley, that has CF. We will hit our knees tonight with prayers for you. May Jesus hold you all close to his heart and shelter you all in the shadow of his glorious wings.
"for I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, and bring you back from captivity." Jeremiah 29: 11-14.

What a brave and courageous little girl. God is truly caring for her and protecting her through this illness. He will bring her safely "through the valley of the shadow of death"! Praise God that He still works miracles today for those who trust Him and obey. I'm praying for a successful transplant and a blessed Christmas for Sydney this year and many years to come.
