Lynette,
I just returned from several days in Louisiana and read the updates from the past few days. I have been sitting here for an hour staring at the computer, crying, praying and thinking of the fun times with Sydney. Oh, how I am pleading for a miracle from our Father!!

Lynette and James,
Our family just returned from Thanksgiving and I clicked on to read Sydney's update. I began to weep out of sadness, and yet I realized I wept, too, because of your complete faithfulness in our Father God. Thank you for sharing your walk with us and allowing us to lift Sydney and you up in prayer. We praise God for His healing hands and for the mighty plans He has for Sydney.
Much love to you all,
Roger, Michelle, Chloie, Taylor and Claire

Lynette and James:
We are praying fervently for you. I am amazed by your peace in the midst of this storm. The Lord is truly surrounding you and sustaining you both. We are praying that our God of miracles will perform another! We know He is able to do all things with just a word or a touch. Oh, that He would do it for Sydney! Hannah sends her favorite passage to you all...Psalms 121...."I lift up my eyes to the hills-where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip-he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD watches over you-the LORD is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all harm-he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore."
We love you all and will continue praying for you day and night.

Stand firm. Your prayer warriors are at your side, and we are ready to do battle with you. Do not let evil distract you from the fight:
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against ...the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground... Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people. Ephesians 6.10-18

I'm glad you ignored the disconsolate advice of the doctors; I couldn't imagine life without hope in the Lord:
Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, "So shall your offspring be." Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was now deadGÇösince he was about a hundred years oldGÇöand that Sarah's womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. This is why "it was credited to him as righteousness." The words "it was credited to him" were written not for him alone, but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousnessGÇöfor us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. Romans 4.18-25

Dear Thweatt family--

My how we are praying for you all daily--specifically that God holds you and comforts you in His Mighty Hand. While trying as these times are, we have to remember that "in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose."(Romans 8:28) Sydney is in His hands and we have to remember His timing and will is perfect. Our family will continue to rejoice with you in your answered prayers and pray with you in your requests. Continue holding steadfast in your faith--it is such an encouragement to all who walk with you in this journey.

In His Comforting Love--
Taylor, Jennifer, Colin, Emily, Sarah and Mary

Lynette and James, I have signed in before to tell you I am in a Sunday School class with Sydney and J.L. at HPUMC. Our grandson, Russell, has A.L.L and lives in Austin. He was diagnosed a year ago this past August. Although our journey is not the same as yours, I want you to know I, and all my family (especially Bonny and Jeff, Russell's parents) pray for you daily. We are aware of your recent decisions and we KNOW the Lord is with you every moment, particularly sweet, precious Sydney. Your lives are forever changed, as are ours. Christ, in these times, reveals to us His boundless love, peace and strength. Just know The Baker family in Dallas and Austin, Texas, have you in our hearts and our prayers daily. The strength, will and boundless resilence these children possess is amazing and beautiful. As we approach another holiday, take each moment and day in itself and continue to wait for His Miracle. Blessings in Christ and May His Peace Be Bountiful in Your Hearts, Nancy Baker
