All of you are in my prayers daily. Your faith is a witness to all; it sustains me in my trials with my elderly parents. Peace be with you, Carol

Dear James and Lynette, I think and pray for you often--both of your letters are so precious and heartfelt. Catherine keeps me posted through her sweet friend and Sydney's cousin, Sam Huffines. We are all praying for a miracle and leaving the rest in our Lord's hands. His love is unfailing. Know that we care. The Chesnut family

Dear All,
David and I just arrived back in the country last night. We continued to pray for all of you and Sydney while we've been gone but we had not heard anything about what you've been going through.
I dreamed about Sydney while we were in Greece. In my dream she was so happy; she was playing with other children. I dreamed about Lynette and Marcie too; you were both so happy and spending time with the parents of the children Sydney was playing with.
I have no idea what (if any) the significance of my dream was...but Sydney was happy and pain free and there was a great deal of joy.
We love all of you and will continue to pray without ceasing!!!

Hi James and Lynette, As I was praying for you today, the Lord put this passage on my heart. It's funny how He brings back an old familiar verse with something powerful added because of the current circumstances. I hope you will sense it as His encouragement for you today. I was praying that you would be strengthened while you wait for what He is doing (the "Streams" readings for the past few days were amazing!) He brought to mind Isaiah 40:28-31 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, And to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, Yet those who wait[Or hope in ] for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary. Much love to your family! Wendy

HEY THERE GUYS. LYNETTE I HOPE U KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE U, THERE HAVE BEEN SO MANY NIGHTS THAT I HAVE LAID IN BED CRYING ABOUT THIS SITUATION, MEMORIES OF ALL OF THE FAMILIES IN COLO. WHEN WE WERE KIDS,& wishing that it could be the case with our kids sorta of carring on the tradition but thats not possible right now, anyway please know that we think of your family many times a day and we all say prayers when we do ,please know how sorry i am about this, and how it would break my moms heart to know sydney is going thru this ,but especially she loved you sooooo very much. she always told me if it kept 1 child in the family from getting any type of cancer she would never go back to being cancer free. she also said she just thought she knew GOD but not till she got sick she said she truly knew him now.I KNOW SHE IS LOOKING DOWN ON YOU, HER FAVORATE THINS WERE THE TREES TURNING IN NEW YORK & SUNRISES & SUNSETS SO WHEN U SEE 1 KNOW THATS MOM STANDING NEXT TO U WITH GOD. I LOVE COS. KAY
