Dear Sydney,
I am so sad I missed your phone call. I will be back in town on Sunday. You can call on Mom's cell phone. I would love to hear from you. I am very pleased to hear you are responding well to the medicine!! I love to hear the fun things you are doing while in the hospital. I know you are making all of those around you smile and laugh, just like you do to me when we are together. Know I am praying for you daily and so are my parents, grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles!! My grandfather's church in Delhi, Louisiana prayed for you Wednesday night. I love you!!

I am so glad you and your Mother had a little Sunday school lesson together on Sunday morning. You are a little disciple of the Lord Jesus. A disciple is one who tells others about the Lord Jesus. I volunteered in your Sunday School class this past Sunday at Watermark. I was so sad you were not there!!! Miss. Elizabeth shared from Mark 2:1-12 the true Bible story about a man who could not walk but had many friends carry him to the Lord Jesus. His friends wanted him to walk again. So they carried his bed to the house where the Lord Jesus was teaching. The house was jammed pack with people so his friends took him to the top of the house and cut a hole in the roof. They lowered his bed down until his bed rested at the feet of the Lord Jesus. The Lord Jesus told him to GÇ£get up and walkGÇ¥ ---- and he did.
Sydney, you have many friends who love you and who are bringing you before the Lord Jesus every minute of the day. We are all praying for your healing!!! It is a privilege to pray for you without ceasing. We are praying that one day you will be able to walk out of the hospital completely healed, just like the man in our Bible Story.
James and Lynette - Thank you for the beautiful written inspirational stories with scriptures you have posted to the website. I am sad that the boys were not a match, but thankful they are not pre-disposed to this disease. I wanted you know that I am already on the National Bone Marrow Donor list as well as my co-worker Siobhan who has written a note already in the guestbook and another friend, Jere, who is a deacon at his church and is praying for Sydney. We are all praying for a donor for Sydney and I am hoping it will be one of us.
With Christ's love and mine, Miss. Cynthia G. Gammill (Sydney's 3 yr old BSF Children Leader)

Dear James and Lynette, We continue praying for Sydney and your entire family. "Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen."

Hi Sydney! I was wondering what the hospital looks like. I'm glad your dad told us about the tent, now I can imagine what it looks like. I hope you are feeling good and I'm glad that you have God to keep you company while you are there! Love, Slade

Dear Thweatts, Our family has been and will be praying for healing for Sydney and strength and joy for all of you. I just had my five-year all-clear checkup for aggressive, stage four non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (another blood cancer) and look forward to hearing the same about Sydney in a few years!!! Remember that the most frequent directive in the Bible--365 times, one for each day!--is "FEAR NOT." We know pretty well how hard it can sometimes be to remember that! May the LORD bless and keep you all safe in His tender care, Love, Sally, Bob, Alice Ann, and Steve Spurgin (an "old" Providence family)

Lynette, James & Sydney Miss you all so much. We are praying without ceasing and are so happy when we call and hear your laughter. God is good and He is taking care of all of you. I concentrate on my favorite verse:
"All things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28
We love you all,
Kamee, Guy and Cate

Praying for excellent rest tonight for everyone. Thank you Lord for Sydney's brave spirit. You have made her a unique wonderful little girl, who is a shining light everywhere she goes! Lord give continued strength to the Thweatt family as you heal Sydney completely. Isaiah 40:25 ...those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Dear Thweatts, We are friends of Ann and Ray and we have been praying for precious Sydney. May the Lord be the air you breathe. May you all be surrounded and protected by His presence. May Sydney be completely healed in Jesus' Name, by His stripes, by His precious blood, by the power of our Risen Savior. May He be praised forever. Asking, through faith, in His Name alone. Amen Debbie and Chris Van Wagoner

Dear James, Lynette and Sydney, God has prepared you for "such a time as this" just like He did Esther. He is calling you higher and higher.
Our prayers are with you...may ou hear the whisper of the voice of our King in the quiet moments. May He comfort your hearts and may He soon reveal the incredible destiny He has for Sydney. She has a mighty call on her life...what a precious sweet girl. I still see her running and playing at the basketball games, always with a smile on her face.
Pray Psalm 91 over your home and over Sydney daily and claim it!
Blessings and may each of you feel the touch of God's hand in your lives.
Blessings, PJ and Preston Hoke

We heard about you from James and Shari Robertson in Plano...just wanted you to know that Don had MDS/leukemia and we just celebrated the 5th anniversary of his stem cell transplant. God is good. We are praying for healing, for you to have confidence and peace...and especially for a donor.
