Dear Lynette, James, Jack, James, Johnson and Sydney,
We pray that this Thanksgiving weekend you will feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in every thing that you do and in every person you encounter. May your family's love for one another grow stronger with each moment of every day! We are thankful for your family and we are praying for Sydney!!!

James & Lynette,
Elizabeth Prentiss, one of my favorite authors, wrote Stepping Heavenward. In chapter 20 she said:
"O if the unseen presence of Jesus can make the heart to sing for joy in the midst of its sorrow and sin here, what will it be to dwell with Him forever! We never know, or begin to know, the great Heart that loves us best, until we throw ourselves upon it in the hour of our despair. Friends say and do all they can for us, but they do not know what we suffer or what we need; but Christ who formed, has penetrated the depths of the crushed heart. He pours in the oil that no human hand possesses, and 'as one whom his mother comforts, so will He comfort you.'"
You have revealed to us the heart of Christ and we love you all the more for that. We are waiting and praying for you and Sydney.

Sydney, first let me say that you are simply beautiful. Secondly, I will pray my very hardest for you.
I am a friend of Kelly and Charlie's mom - Shirley Mechem. Your brother's are in each of their classes. I live in South Carolina and have friends all across the country praying for you.

GǣChristians with the most spiritual depth are generally those who have been taken through the most intense and deeply anguishing fires of the soul. If you have been praying to know more of Christ, do not be surprised if He leads you through the desert or through a furnace of pain. For it is those who suffer the most who yield the most. And it is through pain that God gets the most out of us, for His glory and for the blessing of others.Gǥ - L.B. Cowman

James, never accept a 'death sentence" from a doctor. They are trained to prepare for the worse. With God, "all things are possible." Jim and I have been praying steadily for your baby girl and will continue. Our hearts break with yours, but continue to look up to the Lord in faith. God bless you.

Dear Lynette and James,
I have watched closely all day the web site and have read each entry. My tears continue to flow and I cannot think of anything else but you and your family. My heart is heavy, but I remain faithful in the belief that God has so many plans for Sydney that we could not even comprehend. All of the family in Texas is staying in constant contact and we are all praying for her recovery. Each good day she experiences is a victory for her and one that we should all relish in with her. Please know that although we are not there, we are sending all our love and prayers. Our trust in God continues as we all await the arrival of the donor. We love you all, Patty

James and Lynette,
How devastating to hear such news! You are "glorifying the Lord IN the fires" Isaiah 24:15. We are praying for a miracle. "nothing is impossible with GOD." Luke 1:37. We love you, Linda and Brooks

Dear James and Lynette, we have been praying for you for months but have just signed in. Please know that you and sweet Sydney are loved. I know that the Lord will guide and direct you in all your ways. I love the reminder not to fear as that applies to all of us. Thank you for allowing us to share this journey with you.
