How we hope you can feel the arms reaching for you, the words being prayed for you, the hearts aching for you and the hope being lifted for you across the miles. You are all constant in our hearts and minds. James's words and testimony are so very powerful and comforting to me as I somehow try to find words that could possibly comfort you. Thank you. We love you dearly.

Our thoughts and prayers have been with Little Sydney and your family all day. I awoke several times in the night and would say a prayer for Little Syd.
Please remember we are here for you whatever you need. If you need the plane ..please let us know..It's only a phone call away. That is only a small way we can help...We love you and your family.
Love, Lee Ann and Alan White

Dear Lynette, James, Jack, James, Johnson and Sydney,
We pray that this Thanksgiving weekend you will feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in every thing that you do and in every person you encounter. May your family's love for one another grow stronger with each moment of every day! We are thankful for your family and we are praying for Sydney!!!

James & Lynette,
Elizabeth Prentiss, one of my favorite authors, wrote Stepping Heavenward. In chapter 20 she said:

"O if the unseen presence of Jesus can make the heart to sing for joy in the midst of its sorrow and sin here, what will it be to dwell with Him forever! We never know, or begin to know, the great Heart that loves us best, until we throw ourselves upon it in the hour of our despair. Friends say and do all they can for us, but they do not know what we suffer or what we need; but Christ who formed, has penetrated the depths of the crushed heart. He pours in the oil that no human hand possesses, and 'as one whom his mother comforts, so will He comfort you.'"

You have revealed to us the heart of Christ and we love you all the more for that. We are waiting and praying for you and Sydney.
Ann

Sydney, first let me say that you are simply beautiful. Secondly, I will pray my very hardest for you.

I am a friend of Kelly and Charlie's mom - Shirley Mechem. Your brother's are in each of their classes. I live in South Carolina and have friends all across the country praying for you.

GǣChristians with the most spiritual depth are generally those who have been taken through the most intense and deeply anguishing fires of the soul. If you have been praying to know more of Christ, do not be surprised if He leads you through the desert or through a furnace of pain. For it is those who suffer the most who yield the most. And it is through pain that God gets the most out of us, for His glory and for the blessing of others.Gǥ - L.B. Cowman

James, never accept a 'death sentence" from a doctor. They are trained to prepare for the worse. With God, "all things are possible." Jim and I have been praying steadily for your baby girl and will continue. Our hearts break with yours, but continue to look up to the Lord in faith. God bless you.
