Dear Thweatt Family, I am deeply sorry for your loss, but we have hope that Sydney was that dear little star in this life, and she lived God's plan to the fullest; never giving up!! She is a HUGE inspiration in this world!! Sydney has brought many to Christ, and she had such a positive outlook on her life; even in the most extreme conditions!! When I am ever down, I learned to keep a prayer journal, and write the good things that happened throughout the day; I learned to do so through Sydney. our family (and many more) have been touched by her spirit!! God bless you!

We were so sorry to hear about Sydney. We were all inspired by her strength. We walked in the Light the Night walk in our area last night, we placed two gold memory ribbons on the boys banner for Sydney. We know your faith will help you through this difficult time. We will never forget your wonderful family. God Bless You all.

Dear Thweatt family, The service today was a picture of Jesus Christ in each of you and Sydney's life. Thank you for making His name great in our body of believers and all across the country! I felt the Lord's mighty presence there today, and I know He is pleased with you, His precious servants. I am so encouraged and inspired by your amazing faith. Thank you, again, for your testimony and for allowing us to be a part of your lives. I wish I could do more, but please know I will continue to pray for each of you. Much love, Tara Porter Psalm 31:14-15 But I trust in you, O LORD; I say, "You are my God." My times are in your hands...

Lynette and James, my husband, Richard and I were at Sydney's service today. That is the ONLY service I have ever attended, where I found my tears off and on during the service turned to smiles and actually joy and comfort when we stood to walk out. My heart was so full of praise & thankfulness that your precious daughter is no longer in pain, thin and sick. The loss will be forever for you and for so many who knew her. The loss is also felt by those of us who checked your website DAILY for news--knowing now her reward is living with Christ, but somehow feeling strange not staying in "contact" in some small way. I have spoken with my daughter-in-law in Austin to tell her what a truly magnificant service it was and how calm and reassured I was leaving. Thank you is so inadequate when making an attempt to tell you how grateful my family is that we were able to, from Dallas, in our homes, to walk along this journey "somewhat"! This has been a life changing experience and a divine gift to see how each family member walked with Sydney and with Christ at the center. YES MANY lives have been changed, permanently, because of this small child with a heart for everyone, everywhere. I know for a fact our family will never be the same. Our faith has grown and matured, our trust, if possible, is even deeper. We will all continue daily, to pray for strength as you return to your home with your sons and once again slowly return back to the living of life in its routines and activities and yet always feeling Sydney's spirit will be a part of your lives until you are all together again. With gratitude and praise I again thank you for sharing your daughter and her journey from her time on earth & back to her Heavenly Father. It was a priviledge to be able to attend her service today. I'm back home from Sydney's memorial service. It was so amazing! Jesus was glorified over and over! I loved the description of Sydney as Jesus' little disciple. What an honor!! I wish I could have met her while she was here on earth, but am so excited that I will meet her in heaven! Thank you, Father God, that you have given us a way back to you!!! Lynette and James, know that we continue to pray for you and your family! Beth, John, Haynes, Annika and Greta Meyer :)

Dear Thweatt family, Having just returned from the wonderful service honoring Sydney and praising God for the gift of His Son for all our salvation I want you to know how truly meaningful it was. Though I did not know Sydney persoanlly, you could not help but be touched by all that was shared. It was so convicting and I know lives will be changed as a result. Even those of us with very strong faiths were assured by your example and selflessness. May you find joy in the moments you now share with your extended family and know that the school as a community has grown stronger and sees Christ more clearly through all of this. Thank you for allowing my child's first example of loss to be such a positive and hopeful one.

Dear Thweatts, I was so blessed to celebrate and grieve with you all today. I feel the Lord filling me with courage as I see how he has stirred you to walk by faith. I am so proud of you, so grateful for the picture of God's glory written in your story. The verse I can't escape:
"I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds." John 12:24
Jesus, thank you for being the seed that fell into the ground. Here we are, some of the many seeds growing out of your perfect sacrifice. And thank you for Sydney's life and how it will continue to bear fruit for your glory. May we follow you and follow Sydney until we all gather around your throne to celebrate you forever.

"Golden"
(Like freedom in spring)
She's alone tonight with a bitter cup and She's undone tonight, she's all used up, She's been staring down the demons Who've been screaming She's just another so and so, Another so and so
You are golden, You are golden, Child You are golden, (Don't let go) (Don't let go tonight)
There's a fear that burns like trash inside And your shame of the curse that burns your eyes You've been hiding in your bedroom, Hoping this isn't how the story has to go It's not the way it goes, It's your book now,
You are golden, You are golden, Child You are golden, (Don't let go) (Don't let go tonight)
You're a lonely soul in a land of broken hearts You're far from home, it's a perfect place to start
(Yeah!) (Burn) (Burn, Burn!)
So this final verse is a contradiction And the more we learn the less we know
We've been talkin' about a feeling, We both know inside but couldn't find the words I couldn't write this verse, I've seldom been so sure, About anything before
Golden, You are Golden, Child
You are Golden, (Don't let go) (Don't let go tonight)
This world is a dead man down (Golden, you are) Every breath is a fading crown we wear (Golden, Child, you are) Like some debilitated king (Golden, don't let go) Don't let go tonight
The Earth spins and the moon goes round (Golden, you are) The green comes from the frozen ground (Golden, Child, you are) And everything will be made new again (Golden) (Like freedom in spring) (Golden, Golden)
Hey, like freedom in spring, (Golden, you are, hey) Like freedom in spring (Golden, Child, you are) (Gold...)
