Lynette,

You have been on my heart 2-3 times a day for the past couple of weeks. I have stopped whatever I have been doing and immediately lifted you, Sydney, and the rest of you family up in prayer. I am so thankful for this website and keeping those that live out of town, up to date. I am sending my love. Please give Sydney a big hug for me. I look forward to speaking with you soon.

I am a mom at Covenant and just received an e-mail about precious Sydney. I wish so bad that there was something more to give you all than a simple prayer, but there is not. But prayer is powerful and I will ask all of our prayer warriors at school to keep all of you in their daily prayer.
Blessings, laurie hodges

I truly admire you both, Lynette and James. Your unsurpassed and faithful reliance and trust in God is most honorable. I believe that God will bless your family in immeasureable ways for your obedience. I pray that God will provide you with His grace in a peaceful night's sleep, a moment where illness doesn't cross your mind, an opportunity to selfishly rejuvenate yourself, the courage to continue to let others help, and a clear mind to seek wisdom in each decision. God bless you and your entire family. We continue to devote our thoughts and prayers to our heavenly Father for all of you.
Much love,
Mary Interrante

Dear Lynette, I am praying for you all through this trial. These thoughts have encouraged me during my recent trials with my oldest son, and I wanted to share them with you. "Do you not know. Have you not heard? I am the everlasting God, the Creator of the Earth. I will not grow tired or weary and my understanding no one can fathom. I give strength to the weary and increase the power of the weak. Even youths (Sydney) grow tired and weary and young men stumble and fall., but those who hope in me will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:28 - 31) Whom do you have in heaven but me; and what does earth offer that you desire besides me; your flesh and your heart may fail, but I am the Strength of your heart and your portion forever. (Psalms 73:25 - 26) Not by might or your power, but by Spirit.(Zechariah 4:6) For nothing is too difficult for me. (Genesis 18:14) Be strong in me and in my mighty power. Put on my full armor so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. (Ephesians 6:10-11) Look to me and my strength. Seek my face always. (1 Chronicles 16:11) for what is impossible with men is possible with God. (Luke 18:27) Do not fear for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10) I am your strength; I make your feet like the feet of a deer, enabling you to go on the heights. (Habakkuk 3:19) With my help you can advance against a troop; with my strength you can scale a wall. (2 Samuel 22:30) Take one day at a time, one hour at a time, don't look too far into the future. God loves you and your precious family.

Lynette and James:
We have been and are continuing to lift your family--especially Sydney--up in prayer. My heart doesn't even know how to pray...but the Holy Spirit does. I pray for your mind and thoughts to be calm and controlled by His peace, and that His power would be mightily displayed both in Sydney's body and in your countenance. We love you all and wish we could lighten your burden and ease your fears. We pray for joy and peace in the midst of the storm. We pray that the storm passes quickly and God clearly displays a rainbow before you. Please let us know what we can do for you.
Andre and Suzann

I pray for you guys ---agreeing in prayer with so many other people--- for your most intricate needs at this very moment. I pray for God to bestow peace and courage upon you on a moment by moment basis. For Sydney I am lifting her up to God asking for her to be made well and whole. I believe there is immense POWER in these hundreds of corporate prayers for your family being thrown at the foot of the cross. I will continue to pray for all of your family. Debbie

Dear Thweatts--

We are so sorry to hear of this next obstacle. It is hard to imagine what God's purpose and timing might be--but we draw strength from the fact that we know He is in control. The faith your family has demonstrated and lived through this trial is such a testament. Please know that our family is praying for your family daily.

In His love--

Jennifer, Taylor, Colin, Emily, Sarah and Mary

Just to let you know, we're keeping up with everything through the website and mutual friends. We love you all and pray for you daily - and, quite frankly, more often than that. There can never be too many prayers, and God does listen. We wish that big hugs could be felt over the internet, because we would send lots of them!!!!
