I saw a new posting for yesterday at 2:50pm, but when I clicked on it there was nothing posted for August 31. I continue to pray for Sydney's restoration and for Lynette, James and now Aunt Marcee's physical stamina as you stay by Sydney's side day and night.

The Lord does not slumber or sleep; He watches over your life (paraphrase of Psalm 121)May you all get a good night sleep as the Lord continues to watches over each of you, Sydney and her team of doctors and nurses.

With Christ's love and mine,
Cynthia G. Gammill

I heard about Sydney while checking on an athlete I took pictures of at HP last year who was an excellent baseball player. I wanted you to know I will be praying daily for all of you. Over the last 15 years I have been working on a Youth Support Ministry site & have thousands of poems on it. I have picked one out that I hope will brighten your day -
because I believe in Angels. I'd love to come visit Sydney if it is ever possible. You can visit my web site and contact me there. God bless. PS: I hope this turns out okay on the web site.

ANGELS (Are they near me God?)
By: Tracy Nix

God, I ran into someone last week.
He asked how things were going for me that day.
God, I was really seeking someone then because I was weak.
I answered "Terrible" and he had never seen me act that way.

He walked away, but I had a feeling I had struck a nerve.
I had a feeling that before I left, the day would change if You would be fair.
I knew my words had thrown him a curve.
He returned later & we said a very long prayer.

God, I mentioned a few of my concerns to a friend last week too.
I asked her to pray for me.
I was relieved when she said a prayer, she knew what to do.
God, You showed me that you are really true.

The pressures of the day were immediately lifted.
The concerns on my mind somehow went away.
I wondered if either one of these people had been gifted.
No words can describe the relief I felt that day.

Often I meet people who really care and are willing to listen & share.
Some people say "How are you?" & really mean it.
I feel that during those times you have sent an Angel who really cares.
I feel that those are the days it is my candle that you have lit.

The Holy Spirit speaks to us through others.
The Holy Spirit hears you speak.
We are surrounded by sisters and brothers.
It is during out toughest days when we need to take a peek,

Towards the Heavens to see if You are watching for reassurance that you care.
I realize all we need to do is to gather in numbers to say another Prayer.

Be with those Lord who need your help right now.
Provide a band of Angels to surround them and protect them each day.
Show them through other people that You know how,
To help them & provide them with hope because all they need to do is pray.
Through our prayers, we gain trust
Having You on our side is a must.

Provide us a way to know when You have sent US an ANGEL from above.
Give us guidance and lead us through them to open our eyes.
It may be a Pastor, it may be a friend.
Each of whom can provide us with love.
What matters the most is that we listen.
Everything will work out, in the end!

Thank You for answering our Prayers that day.
As I strive for the right words to say,
We love You God, our Lord & Savior.
Because of You, we feel YOUR favor.

When we see You at the gates of Heaven & You asked "why we should enter",
We want to say we've led others to believe in You.
When those gates open I'll run towards the center,
And promise that I tried share my faith with others, & lead others to Christ... as You said to!

Thank you for sending Angels my way that day.
Send to me someone who needs a friend.
We will take a moment and take time to pray.
Everything will work out, in the end!

I was thrilled to open Sydney's website this morning and get an update. I check two or three times a day. Just know that every time I open her site, a prayer goes up. Whereas I am so sad about her condition, I'm equally elated over her progress. She is such a fighter. I can't believe she has the fortitude to indicate that she can walk another lap, and even to say she feels "good". Unbelievable. May God continue to give you strength to meet the challenges, and "God, heal Sydney"...in His name.

Lynette,
I saw James today on the patio of the 7-8 grade bldg. He was sitting with Charlie and he was laughing. I just thought you would like to hear that. Hourly, I pray for every member of your family. I keep a Christmas card that shows all 3 boys with Sydney (in her tiara, or course) on my refrigerator so I am constantly reminded to pray. I also have Rose....who is another reminder of how much we miss your daughter. I wish she were here in Dallas with Rose, but our Father wants her in NY.....so we give thanks for NY! We give thanks with you for every detail of every day and are trusting Him, with you for her complete restoration. I'm hoping you are reading Streams,as well. The past week has had Thweatt written all over! You are so blessed!
Much Love,
Kellye
p.s. we miss you, too

Father, we praise you for the improvement in Sydney!! Every battle won, no matter how small is an encouragement to us. Please continue to give her family hope everyday. Everyday let them be able to see you working in all of this to make Sydney whole and completely well!! We thank you for each and every word Sydney speaks, we thank you for each step she takes. Father, you've given this precious little girl a strong, fighting will. Keep the hope in Sydney alive. Even through her weakness let her somehow see your strength. Help her to push on for victory... for your glory!!! Father, the enemy is already defeated. Help us remember that. When Jesus rose from the dead the enemy might have well given up! God, the glory is all yours!!! We're going to see victory in Sydney's life and it will increase our hope for our own battles we are each facing!!! Victory will be sweet!!! The glory will be yours alone!!! And we'll praise you forever!!!! We pray in the name above every other name on heaven and earth, JESUS. Amen

And another thing, Father, watch over Sydney's brothers!! Give them peace and comfort during this time of separation from their parents. Surround them with the most loving people and bring joy into their lives everyday. Fill them with hope and help them with any problems they face. Help them feel your presence. Let them know, in ways that would be special to each of them, that you love them and are there with them as much as you are there with Sydney. Keep them strong, healthy, and full of hope and joy!!! In Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen

Lynette sweetie... it's just around the corner!!! We are seeing little steps now, but those steps are growing, getting stronger, increasing, and the victory will soon be seen.

Love you sweet Thweatt family!!!
Many Hugs to all of you!!
Sencie
