In a passage in Psalm 56:8 it affirms..."You've kept track of my every toss and turn through the sleepless nights, Each tear entered in your ledger, each ache written in your book!" James, the sacrifice of praise you give to the Lord is so evident...your thankful heart, along with the many tears and moments of heartache, speak VOLUMES to a world who needs to see God's handiwork in action. Thank you for your authenticity before the Lord (and Man)and I will continue to pray God will strengthen and uplift your heart that you may "see" and EXPERIENCE His goodness. I am thankful that we are not bound by this world (of sin/disease) and that our eternal life is sealed---we are free to LIVE in Christ! Nothing can separate us from Him.

Dear Thweatt Family,

As I contemplate our family's blessings during this Thanksgiving season, I am thankful for the privilege of praying daily for Sydney and her family. I am reminded that there are literally hundreds of families across the nation that are praying for Sydney each day. Our God is an awesome God and He hears our prayers! We are praying for complete healing!

Dear Thweatts- I have a picture in my head of the entire Texas Thweatt family in New York City for Thanksgiving. I see Sydney's huge smile at seeing each of her brothers and the joy of them spending time together. I hear peals of laughter in the halls, and wonderful Texas accents. I also hear the prayers of thanks for your family from all the patients, nurses, doctors and staff whose lives you have touched with your amazing faith and beautiful example of love.
I hope that this Thanksgiving week is a peaceful and blessed time for you all. The Paynes will be giving thanks to God for the blessing of the Thweatts in our lives and we pray we will all be giving thanks for good news about Sydney. Happy Thanksgiving to you all.
--love, Dee Ann and Family

And find my glory in the power of the cross;
In every victory, let it be said of me
My source of strength, my source of hope is Christ alone."

Dear Thweatts
We are still praying for you here in Kentucky! Our in-vitro worked so I have to get shots the entire first 12 weeks, so I still use that as a reminder each day to pray for your family! We saw the baby on ultra sound and it looks like a gummie bear! God is good and faithful and we believe it for you too!
Much love! The Whartons James Dawn and Bailey

Dear Sydney, James, Lynette and family,

May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. I was in Cuba last week, and as we shared the gospel with many, I was also able to share with many brothers and sisters regarding Sydney. Becky had given me a picture of Sydney which I carried, and I also gave many the GǣSydney/Psalm 121Gǥ wrist braclets. Many in Cuba are praying for Sydney. One lady who is committed to pray for Sydney is named Marina Leon. She is 82 years old, and because of several infirmities she can no longer attend the church. She spends her entire days reading the Bible and praying.

John Bunyan, the author of GǣPilgrim's ProgressGǥ was in jail from 1660 to 1672. He had a wife and 4 children. His oldest child, Mary, was blind. Bunyan would have been freed from jail if he would only agree not to preach. He wrote, GǣThe parting with my wife and poor children hath often been to me in this place as the pulling of the flesh from my bonesGǪ.Oh the thoughts of the hardship I thought my blind one might go under, would break my heart to pieces.Gǥ But Bunyan also wrote the following. GǣI never had in all my life so great an inlet into the Word of God as now [in prison]. The Scriptures that I saw nothing in before are made in this place to shine upon me. Jesus Christ also was never more real and apparent than now. Here I have seen him and felt him indeedGǪ.I have seen [such things] here that I am persuaded I shall never while in this world be able to expressGǪ. Being very tender of me, [God] hath not suffered me to be molested, but would with one scripture and another strengthen me against all; insomuch that I have often said, were it lawful I could pray for greater trouble for the greater comfort's sake.Gǥ

We pray that God will extend His mighty right hand and heal Sydney. Psalm 119:71 states, GǣIt is good for me that I was afflicted, that I may learn your statutes.Gǥ In your time of pain, we pray that your experience will be like that of the psalmist and of John Bunyan, that you may experience the presence of Jesus in a very special way and the He may be your peace, your comfort, your strength and your joy.

Love in Christ,
Gary, Maria Ines, Dani, Karisa, Samuel

Dear Thweatt family,
First of all, thank you for the website. So often I try to imagine what it is like for each member of the family. And your postings describe that for us. One, that is an inspiration for us. Secondly, it better lets us know how to pray. Thank you.
Tonight in putting Laws, my 3rd grader to bed, we prayed for Sydney and her continued courage in this. We prayed for her lung. We prayed for her brothers (it has helped my son voice how much his own sister means to him). We prayed for Lynette and James and we pictured you putting your tiny hands into the Lords' large one. And we thanked the Lord for Mrs. Rucksdashel's story of remission and prayed for remission, healing, a miracle.
Brad has been in Asia for two weeks, and as we so look forward to his homecoming; we think about all your family getting to be together this Thanksgiving week. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, with prayer and supplication with THANKSGIVING -- let your requests be made known unto God. And the PEACE of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Jesus Christ our Lord." Philippians 4:6-7
With Love, Debby for the Smith Family

Hi Theweatt family,

Please know I will be praying for Sydney. I have recently learned all about a science called GLYCOBIOLOGY and I represent a cellular level nutrition called GLYCO NUTRITION which is all about the nutrients that all of our body's cells need to communicate/recognize & destroy malfunctioning cells and to recognize and replenish healthy cells. It is my prayer and hope that you might take a look at it & give us a call. Blessings on you & your sweet girl. We have daughters and one granddaughter, ourselves, so your anguish is something we can only imagine. We also know the same God you do, and know that He brings hope for answers sometimes, in unexpected ways.

Kindest regards,

Paula Carpenter
