Dear James, Lynette, and family,

Thank you for the beautiful Christmas card!

Merry Christmas to you as we celebrate the birth of our Savior!

Luke 2:8 In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened. 10 But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; 11 for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 "This will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger." 13 And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, 14 "Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased."

Praying for Sydney and all of you,

The Son family

We are praising and thanking God with you!
" Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known among the nations what He has done. Sing to Him, sing praise to Him; tell of all His wonderful acts.
Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
Look to the Lord and His strength; seek His face always.
Remember the wonders He has done, His miracles..."

Dear Lynette, Sydney and family!!

We are making a Joyful noise praising God for this miraculous answer to prayer!!

God is so Good.

Read Psalm 18 cause your news to me made me think of it...the earth trembled and quaked
and the foundations of the mountains shook...He mounted the cherubim and flew;he soared on the wings of the wind..He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters...he brought me out into a spacious place;he rescued me because he delighted in the faithful you show yourself faithful...You o Lord keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light...
The Lord lives!Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior!

We are so grateful.

peace to you and your precious family this Christmas Eve night Sweet Lynette--
love salli, david, luke mary shelby priscilla

Proverbs 25:25 Like cold water to a weary soul is good news from a distant land.

Rejoicing with you in our Savior's gift.

I wanted to share this wonderful poem written by Joseph Bayly, a friend of my pastor. May it be our Psalm of Praise for Sydney this Christmas Eve.

"A Psalm for Christmas Eve"

Praise God for Christmas
Praise Him for the Incarnation
For Word made flesh.
I will not sing
of shepherds watching flocks
on frosty night
or angel choristers.
I will not sing
of stable bare in Bethlehem
or lowing oxen
wise men
trailing distant star
with gold and frankincense and myrrh.
Tonight I will sing
praise to the Father
who stood on heaven's threshold
and said farewell to His Son
as he stepped across stars
to Bethlehem
and Jerusalem.
And I will sing
praise to the infinite eternal Son
who became most finite
a Baby
who would one day be executed
for my crimes.
Praise Him in the heavens.
Praise Him in the stable.
Praise Him in my heart.

We'll keep praying and praising!
