Lynette, I was thinking how sweet our Lord is to bless you with such good news just in time for Mother's Day!
Thank you for letting us in on this work of God! Every day is a miracle with Sydney. I was also reminded of the mothers you have made friends with this past year who need to be lifted in prayer, especially today. We are joining you in praying for their families also.
Love you all,Susan,Steve,& Kylie

Hi Lynette!

Happy Mother's Day!!! You are the best mother I know... so much patience, so much faith, so much strength...

"Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; say to those with fearful hearts, 'Be strong, do not fear.' Your God will come, He will come with a vengeance; with divine retribution, He will come to save you." Isaiah 35:3-4

I am thrilled that sweet Sydney is improving!! May God continue to bless you with good reports and Sydney's steady recovery... Love, Melinda

OUR MOTHER & MY WIFE HANDS

My mother's hand's very caressing, white, and made of wax Only her hands are holy, they are the only ones that love, give and never complain.

The ones that cure me from pain
The ones that pull the thorns from my hands
And stab them in their own.
So, that I won't suffer and feel any pain but feel the freshness of a flower.

My mother's hand's are like the blue sky they are like a miracle making my shadow shine on the stars.
The touch of her love filled hands is the only way that can cure the sadness and pain.

Our mother & My wife hand's know how to erase sadness.
Our mother & My wife hand's are perfumed with tenderness.

We love you on this Mother's Day and every day.

Happy mother's day, Lynette,
As I sit at my desk this morning, thinking of Sydney and your family, as I do every morning, I am made to think specifically of you. I have never met you, but yet I feel that I know you, because of the encouragement that you give to Janice and me every time we read your reports about Sydney or reports made about you. You are the epitome of a wonderful mother proven by the way you trust in God while taking care of your daughter. I know that times become difficult, but continue having your strong faith in the Lord. My prayer today is that Sydney has a great day today, so that you will have a wonderful mother's day and a relaxing day.

Sincerely,
Mark Bailey

It is so when we are tempted to faint under affliction. God's message to us is not, "Be strong and of good courage," for He knows our strength and courage have fled away. But it is that sweet word, "Be still and know that I am God." Hudson Taylor was so feeble in the closing months of his life that he wrote a dear friend: "I am so weak I cannot write; I cannot read my Bible; I cannot even pray. I can o nly lie still in God's arms like a little child, and trust." This wondrous man of God with all his spiritual power came to a place of physical suffering and weakness whre he could only lie still and trust. And that is all God asks of you, His dear child, when you grow faint in the fierce fires of affliction. Do not try to be strong. Just be still and Know that He is God, and will sustain you, and bring you through. God keeps His choicest cordials for our deepest faintings. "Stay firm and let thine heart take courage: P. 27:14

Love you all, karen

We do not stop praying for you all - may the God of all comfort give you great hope and peace this mother's day - we love you!
Here is an excerpt from my Streams in the Desert -May10th
...What do you do when you are about to faint physically? You cannot DO anything. You cease from your doings. In your faintness you fall upon the shoulder of some strong loved one. You lean hard. Your rest. You lie still and trust.

dear lynette,

my bsf group was not the same without you to finish with us last year and not a Wednesday goes by that I do not think about you and wish you could be there to be encouraged and refreshed. I miss your laugh and seeing you and Sydney's smiling faces. I continue to pray for you daily and all my little prayer warriors are so faithful. We have seen miracles in our walk with your family and many answered prayers. We are praying expectantly again!

He will cover you with his feathers and under his wings you will find refuge--Sydney is so blessed to have such a Godly loving mother--and you are an amazing role model for us as we see only a glimpse of all that you are...
love salli shanahan

Dear Lynette,
I needed to write this to you. It was in my devotion today.
Mother's Day is a great opportunity to think about the influnece of the home in shaping-positively or negatively-a child's faith in Christ. The faith must be both taught and caught. Often all children learn from their parents' faith are the "do's and don'ts of religion. Chidlren learn the "oughts" but are not given the adentrure of being in Christ. Life is lived by compulsion and not by conviction.
In today's scripture (2 Timothy 1:5)
When I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also.
We see a three-generation flow of genuine faith. Three cheers for grandmothers like Lois and mothers like Eunice.
When I read this I thought of your Mom and Granny and you. Your faith and your family are the real deal. Praise God for you family.
And praise God for your family with James, they are the next generation of belivers and they are watching the walk of faith that you have have displayed with loving conviction and by example.
I love you,
Have a very Happy Mother's Day,
Susan

Dear Lord,
Thank you for carrying Lynette through another year of motherhood. Grant her Your peace, Your joy, Your hope for whatever the morrow brings. Hold her close when the darkness seems to crowd out the light. Strengthen her by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Speak words of love and truth into the recesses of her heart and mind. Give her the strength to carry on when she is weary and afraid. Protect and lead her through each day. Grant her the words to proclaim Your glory throughout her walk. May your miraculous power be witnessed by many - especially those who need You.
In the precious name of Jesus,
Amen
