Dear Lynette, Since the Christmas Eve miracle, I have had a vision in my heart of Sydney continuing to walk along the path of healing. The Lord gave me this verse for you.
"Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, the God who is our salvation. God is to us a God of deliverances, and to God the Lord belong escapes from death." Psalm 68:19-20
Blessings to you dear friend. Give Sydney a hug from the Howards.

We are thinking of you and praying for you. God's grace is sufficient for you. His strength is made perfect in your weakness; therefore, when you are weak, he is strong.

I am a friend of Ashley Gonzales, and she tells me about Sydney almost everytime we talk. I don't know your family, but you are such a light. I am inspired to draw closer to Him everytime I hear how your family is praising Him. Thank you for your faithfulness. He is seen in you even by those who don't know you.

Greetings Thweatt Family, A friend of mine who volunteers at Sloan Kettering asked that I pray for Sydney and your family. I am privledged to do so. You are all so courageous and have increased my faith. I saw the movie The Nativity and thought about how hard it was for Mary and Joseph...the lowely circumstances of their lives...the physical hardship that came with that civilization...and yet our Lord was just fine with coming into the world in the most humiliating of circumstances. God encourage Mary and Joseph along the way...guided their feet and the work of their hands...and knitt them together; yet so much of their lives remained difficult. I think your lives reflect this very reality as you work out glorifying Him in these most trying times. "Now to Him who is able to keep you from falling, and to present you before His glorious presence without fault AND WITH GREAT JOY, to the only Lord our God who has all glory, power, majesty, and authority, Jesus Christ for all the ages, now and forevermore. Amen".

The first verse I wrote was Psalm 9:1-2, not Psalm 8! OOPS!

I am marveling at God's work in Sydney and at the fact that she was out of bed and PLAYING, finally enjoying her Christmas presents: her kitchen and her improved health! Praise God! I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will tell of all thy wonderful deeds. I will be glad and exult in thee, I will sing praise to thy name, O Most High. Psalms 8 I read the following verses the other day which really spoke to me and now as I'm writing to you...I realize God has used you, Sydney, and your family to illustrate these verses to me and to all those praying for you and following your progress through your letters via e-mail:
You yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written on your hearts, to be known and read by all men; and you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God. Not that we are competent of ourselves to claim anything as coming from us; our competence is from God, who has made us competent to be minsters of a new covenant, not in a written code but in the Spirit; for the written code kills, but the Spirit gives life. 2 Corinthians 3:2-6 Thank you for your constant witness.

Steven and April have kept me up to date with everything Sydney is going through. Miracles happen every day and sometimes in the smallest of things like white cells. Your beautiful little girl is certainly in my prayers. Keep faith that God loves all of you and those things beyond your control give to him. God Bless.
