James and Lynette:
I think that Sydney's illness has certainly united many people in one heart, one spirit in Christ. Mrs. Chester spoke in chapel today (I miss seeing your cheerful faces there)about faith and following God when you can't seem to see Him. I feel like I personally have encountered this message repeatedly in the past 2 weeks everywhere I go...on DayStar network at 2:00 a.m., at church, in devotional, on a card, is truly unbelieveable. I hope that you know in your heart every day that so many of us are in your corner, praying for you, proud to know you and see not only your beautiful human spirit, but the Godly spirit living in and through you. Even though things must seem so unsettling to you numerous times in every day, He is working through you in ways you can't imagine to so many people. It is a blessing to me. Thank you. You reassure my faith. We continue to pray upon every thought of you all.

James, Lynette, Sydney & family,

What an awesome testament you are for God's strength. You're right, James to lean on your faith G㢠on Proverbs 3:5. Only deep inside God's Spirit are we free from fear. Your website is a beautiful way to update your friends, gain the support you need through our prayer & also to give us all strength in our own lives.

I pray that the peace of Christ will continue to permeate your spirits along this journey.

Dear Sydney, James, Lynette, and family,

We pray that our Lord will make Himself known to you in a mighty way, and that you will be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might, and that you will find rest for your souls.

Psalm 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, The God who is our salvationGă¬. 28 Your God has commanded your strength; Show Yourself strong, O God, who have acted on our behalfGă¬. 34 Ascribe strength to God; His majesty is over Israel And His strength is in the skies. 35 O God, You are awesome from Your sanctuary. The God of Israel Himself gives strength and power to the people. Blessed be God!

Matthew 11:28 "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. 29 "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. 30 "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

All grace and peace be to you from Jesus Christ our Lord and God the Father,

Gary Son and family

We serve a great God. Don't lose heart. I feel like I am reading a chapter out of Job when I read your most recent update. I cried a pool of tears thinking about how I would feel if it was my Courtney or Emily going through this. How I would trade places in a second as I know you would. I am confident that the Lord cares as much about how we repond to trouble as the trouble itself. You light shines through and you are an inspiration to those around you that you don't even know. We pray for you often -- for strength and that the healing has already occured...

Love from all of us...

I am praying for Sydney, and Jack, all of you. I am a Cambridge mom. I substituted at school yesterday and I observed Jack smiling, talking, studying, being a normal kid. He is with a great group of kids. I also lunched with the faculty and was privy to their "table talk." Their discussions of the students (not specifically Jack), and teaching and just life were so strengthening to this parent. I want you to know that Jack is in a good place.
