We are a family at Cambridge, our daughter Caitlin is in Jack's class. I met him last night for a moment at he open house, what a wonderful young man. I am sure you are very proud of him. Caitlin has an older brother 7 years older than herself and they have always been very close. That sounds like about the age difference between Jack and Sydney. We have been and will continue to be in prayer for all of you. I lead Mom's in Touch at Cambridge and we are praying there as well. I know you have many friends here supporting you, but please know we would love to do anything at all to help you here. I just wanted you to know that there are many prayers being lifted up for Sydney and your family.

Just wanted to share something with you: This morning in faculty prayer we were really crying out to the Lord for the whole of the Thweatt family: Complete and Miraculous Healing for Sydney, Comfort, Strength, Sustenance, for the Lord to Completely meet each and every family member's personal needs, as well as give James an extra measure as he tries to love and comfort Lynette and Sydney, be there for the boys, be in three places at once, try to maintain his work responsibilities, etc. GÇôspecifically I ask the Lord to come along side James and GÇ£hold up his arms,GÇ¥ like Joshua did for Moses and to be the GÇ£God of all ComfortGÇ¥ to James and Lynette.
When I came back to my desk, I reached into this little box of Bible verses I have and asked the Lord to give me His word for this day . . . The verse which I GÇ£grabbedGÇ¥ was Isaiah 58:9 GÇ£THEN YOU WILL CALL, and the LORD WILL ANSWER; YOU WILL CRY FOR HELP, and HE Will SAY TO YOU: HERE I AM!GÇ¥

Good Morning Sweet Lynette,
As I was on my face praying for Sydney this morning, the Lord reminded me of Psalm 20:7
Some trust in chariots and some in horses [doctors and medicine] but we trust in the name of the Lord our God!
Remember, we do not worship a God of chances, statistics, percentages or probablilites! We serve a God who is sovereign over all and STILL delights to perform miracles and give good gifts to His children!
Standing in the gap for you and praying Joshua 10 prayers (vs. 12-14)for Sydney! Wendy

Dear Thweatts, I haven't written you in awhile but my thoughts and prayers are with you throughout each day. Our family is praying consistently for Sydney's healing. I am most fervently praying that you all are resting in God's sovereignty and trusting His plan for Sydney. Lynette, I am also praying that He would give you an extra measure of strength and grace each day as you provide the daily care for your sweet patient. It is a privilege to bring Sydney and your family before the Lord. How precious to know He holds our prayers in golden bowls. All our love, Mauri, Chip, Hollis and James
