Hi everybody...
We love you guys and are praying really harder than I think I ever have. I was so encouraged by your letter Lynette, because the Lord has been teaching be about being thankful, about praising Him, about Giving thanks for He is good. I've sung it all my life, I've even said those words. But to actually stop and do it has been transforming in my life. He tells us to give thanks not just because He is so deserving, but because He knows it is good for us too. Thanks for encouraging me to always...always...not matter the circumstance, to give thanks. He is truly worthy! Love you sooo much!
Sharon

Barry and I remember how hard many decisions are when faced with the life of your child, but knowing that you have fought for her life with all possible resources of sciene, prayer, and determination does give peace. Mary Beck

Sydney: I had so much fun hanging out with you and the boys last weekend. Please exercise as much as you can by walking or racing around in the chair and exercise your lungs to help them get better. You are such a champion. Give your Mom and Dad a hug (and Marcee). I'll see you soon. Love, grant.

Lynette and James,

Apart from the Holy Spirit, there is no explanation for a family like yours! God has certainly answered our prayers for miracles. Countless internal miracles have occured in the hearts of your family, people in Dallas and New York and those reached through this website. Praise God!
Remember that Jesus has already defeated the ugly enemy, "death", so "Fear not, for He is with you. But, we are like sheep and we fear. So, when Satan/fear knocks at your door, ask Jesus to get it for you. He'll handle the intrusion.
Stephen and I will continue to fight in prayer for you. Things seem great w/Jack at CSD - so glad he's had crew to throw himself into. Love to you both, Ruth Meek

Dear Precious Sydney - you are so loved by our Messiah! I pray you feel His love, His unfailing love and joy all around you. You reflect the glory of our Messiah. Remember He will never leave you nor forsake you... He is with you all the days of your life. I pray all of Psalm 91 over you and your precious family especially where it says that "He has given His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways... and that when you call upon Him He will answer.... He will give you long life and His salvation." Romans 10:10 says, "when you call upon the name of the Lord you will be saved." Saved there means SOZO in Greek, and it translates - healed, made whole, restored, delivered. Sydney, I pray and speak LIFE over you and that God will restore all things concerning you.

Lynette and James - may our heavenly Father cloth you with strength, perserverance, and hope to walk out this journey. He loves you so much. All my blessings and prayers are with all of you.

Please know that my homeroom has comitted to pray for you daily, especially on the 12th. Sydney (and family) remain a permanent fixture on our prayer request board (created by Meredith Scudder).

Selections from Isaiah 40:
Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young. ...The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
