We are wishing Sydney a happy birthday and thanking God for her life and what He continues to teach us through her. We will continue to pray for all of the medical issues...she is our prayers each and every day--but this week we will rejoice in a birthday and all of the fun we hope she gets to have on Thursday.

Happy Birthday!!

I've been praying for Sydney since Holly started the thread on splitcoaststampers for her.

God brings Sydney to my mind often and I continue to prayer for her!!!

She's an amazing girl with an amazing family!!!!

Here's a couple of scriptures that I've been reading a lot lately.

"I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and He heard me out of His holy hill. I laid down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me."
Psalms 3:4-5

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to they bones."
Psalms 3:5-8

Sydney, we love you sweetie!!!
Stay strong!! We're going to keep praying for you until you're completely healed!!!

Lynette, you have been so strong for your little girl!!! I know at times you probably don't feel like you're strong, but the Lord is there holding you up!! He loves you so much and has such compassion for you!!! Just keep looking to Him!! Don't look at the problems... just look at Jesus!! When you feel like you can't take it one more day just know He's there. He's holding you and Sydney and your whole family in His embrace!!

I will continue praying for you and Sydney and I will rejoice with you when the doctors are astounded with Sydney's recovery... with her complete healing!!! That day is coming!!!

Love,
Sencie

Sweet Thweatt family, I am a friend of Anne Huffines and I have been praying for you. You are such an inspiration to me. Your love for the Lord is so evident and you are a living example of the word of God - "rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." I Thess 5:16-18 I will continue to lift you up to our Great Physician!
Love in our Lord,
Teri Lynam

Dear Thweatts,

I pray the doctors all seek God's wisdom and that He provides supernatural skill
as they proceed on what's best
for Sydney. I pray for complete
restoration, physically and spiritually. I pray that Christ
is more real to you than ever before, with comfort and encouragement and strength.
I praise Him for His faithfulness in sustaining you and your faithfulness in abiding in Him. May He continue
to affirm and strenghten your confidence in Him.
Love & Blessings,
Jennie Gilchrist

I am praying for you daily and have been. Psalm 27:1..."The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid." and that our mighty God is crushing this fungus under His feet. I love you Sydney (and Lynette) and I am praying for ALL of you. Dear Lynette, James and Family,
This has been a week of disappointments with the news of tests results. One has to look at the doctors who spend everyday of their lives living and breathing these situations and wonder how they continue? They must be human at times, but it is hard to show that side when you are dealing with emotional families and the precious gift of all, a child. It must be agonizing for them as well. James, your letter written today says so much about the doctors and nurses you and Lynette have trusted Sydney's life with. They must be angels in disguise, watching over her and praying for her each day. The power of prayer is undeniable, we have seen it over and over this last year. Children are gifts from God and our greatest achievments. You both have loved, cared, made the most difficult decisions, fought for her life and lived by God's word and guidance. Once again, God is calling on you to once again trust his will and love unconditionally. No one could ask more of the two of you. I continue to be inspired by your love and trust of God and know that he will lead all of you in the right direction. I hope that the visit from Ray and Ann will bring you some sort of peace, knowing that they are bringing the love of the entire family with them to share with you since we are not there. Syndey continues to be in our constant thoughts and prayers. We pray for the spots in her lungs to heal, we pray for your love and strength to continue, we pray for the doctor's wisdom to do what is right and we pray untimately for her complete recovery. Love to all of you, Patty

James and Lynette,

I haven't signed the guestbook in a long time, but of course, I think of you all often. I'm praying with you for Sydney's health, but more importantly, that your whole family will cotinue to allow God to draw you closer to Himself through all of this.

James and Lynette,

Cara, Chase and I are in Latvia for summer camp now. I just checked the website for an update and saw how she is doing. We do still pray for you and trust that God will continue to strengthen Sydney and remove the fungus from her lungs. We also pray for Lynette and the boys as they prepare to leave for camp.

Caroline is still in the USA preparing for a part in the production of "Annie". Friends and family are taking care of her. Acting is her first passion and we have now left her stateside twice as we come for this camp with orphan children and church children. This year we have a team of 14 teenagers and 4 adults.

We will return on the 2nd of August.

Trust in the Lord!

The Giles Family
