Hi Lynette, I thought of you immediately as I read this passage. You are truly living this out in your powerful example and witness to all those around you. It is such a beautiful visual of your ministry there. Read it aloud to Sydney. I think she'll love it! Keep being Christ's example in loving the lost who are all around you!
"But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.
For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing; to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life And who is adequate for these things?
For we are not like many, peddling the word of God, but as from sincerity, but as from God, we speak in Christ in the sight of God."

Dear Ones, I can't believe it's been a whole week since we were there with you! Emily loved her visit with Sydney and has been planning more fun things for them to do when Sydney comes home. Keep up the good work, Sydney, and you'll be on your way back home to Texas in no time. Your friends and helpers in NYC are all so wonderful and nice. God continues to take the best care of you and your family. Love, Aunt Ann

Sydney and Family: Glad the lung surgery has gone well. You've gone through quite a long ordeal and are bound to be exhausted. This has been quite a hurdle you've gotten over, and my thoughts/prayers are with you all.

I just don't have words to express what I am feeling as I read about Sydney's surgery and continued battle. She is an amazing child and you are an amazing family. I don't know Sydney, though I feel I do, but I love her and pray for her and your family. Please Lord, heal this child...in Your name.

Dear Family,
Praise God that our prayers have been answered once again. I thank him for watching over Sydney and the family during surgery. I thank him for wonderful parents like James and Lynette, who have remained strong through every storm that has been brought their way. I thank him for giving Sydney the courage, strength, and complete faith that she would be fine. I thank him for another day of having her in all our lives. I thank him for the unbelievable doctors and nurses that care for Sydney each day. I thank him for the courage he has given us all this past year. I thank him for our family and may we remain strong and steadfast in our belief that Sydney will be completely healed. Love to the Thweatt Family, Patty

Dear Sydney, I am a friend of your Aunt Holly's and her family and of your neighbors in Dallas the Sampson's. You are an incredible young lady and you have so many people praying for you and your family. I was tickled to learn that we share the same birthday. You turned 8 and I turned 48! I pray that you continue to improve every minute, hour and day. Jill Bee
