Lynette, I am a friend of Wendy Howards. I have been keeping up with Sydney's progress through her. She sends me a copy of your messages. I must tell you I have then been including my in-laws in this prayer circle and both of us have been so inspired by your family's faith. I have never witnessed such complete trust in the Lord. As my mother in-law and I sat and read the "Christmas Eve Snow" together, we cried and said another prayer for Sydney. My own faith has been strengthened so much through your complete faith in the Lord. I admire you all and will continue in prayer for Sydey's health. Blessing to you all, Julie McKee, Dallas

We have been so eager for more good news, and I think we got it in your most recent update. More white blood cells and getting out of bed to play sounds wonderful! We pray for more progress and for your continued strength. Love, The Johnsons

Lynette- Tell Sydney Laura and I would love for her to cook us up something in her kitchen. Maybe it will entice her to think about food. I hope that tomorrow is a day that Sydney stands up and takes a few steps and eats a few bites. It will be amazing when you can get to the apartment. We keep praying for Sydney's health and praising God for her white blood cells. Love, Dee Ann

Lynette & James, a quick hello. I cannot for some reason, read your latest posting, but it will open later. I check daily for postings and Russell's mom, Bonny and I talk every week about little Sydney. We both know you are in a LONG HAUL "mode"--many calls I am sure and notes asking. We just want you to know again, we have a "pretty good idea" of your present existence, from moment to moment. ANY improvement, no matter how slight is cherished.Nothing about this disease is Quick or Simple and a lot is Unknown. Please know our prayers, love and expectations for a good result are daily for US BAKERS.

We are rejoicing, wih praise to Him for the answered prayers. As we read each line on the answered prayer list, we thanked God, but it was the last one that Sydney is feisty again and has begun to laugh; that bought us to tears of joy and even laughter. Thank you for all you share with us. We think of Sydney and pray for her often. Our prayers are also with each member of Sydney's family. May the God of hope fill you with joy and peace. Romans l5:13 Much Love, A. Jeane & U. Edd

Dear Thweatt Family,
I just want you all to know that our family has been praying for you all for months during this difficult journey. We are so thankful to the Lord for what He is doing and paise Him for your "white Christmas". Gina and I are frequently moved to tear reading the updates and We praise God for Sydney and for what He is doing in her and your family's lives. Almost every night during family prayers, Clayton, Benjamin, Byers and Margaret Anne also lift up Sydney and ask for her healing. Our children are so moved by her illness that they truly carry a burden of prayer for her.
Know that you are loved by so many families here and we will continue to pray and keep up to date on what is happening.
Blessings, Scott

Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Praise that you both are so transparent in your faith and your concerns. It helps us pray more specifically for your family. With great joy, I've been considering the miracle and mystery of Sydney's amazing white(cell) Christmas, and God revealed this verse to me: "Do you not say, 'There are yet four months, and then comes the harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes, and look on the fields, that they are WHITE for harvest. "Already he who reaps is receiving wages, and is gathering fruit for life eternal; that he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together." John 4:35-36 Sydney's situation has sown a mighty field of prayer, and we rejoice in the eternal fruit. Blessings, Carol Bayless (Cambridge)

Dear Family, The latest note from you filled me with joy! This is wonderful news and I, too, prayed for this day to come. I have thought of all of you often since I was there with you. To be able to just peek at Sydney through the window was calming and a privledge. I am thankful for the time I spent with each member of the family during that critical time. It was healing for me to see and touch all of you and to hear your voices and stories. I will never forget the call we received on Christmas Eve that a Christmas miracle had indeed occurred, white blood cells were found. We all cried and laughed as we thanked God for this miracle and for hearing all our prayers. I know we must focus on the present, as Lynette mentioned, but one cannot help think now about the future of this precious child. I am thankful for all the good news we are receiving. Again, we wait each day to receive the news of the day and God has smiled down on Sydney and her family. Words cannot express the admiration I have for James and Lynette. They never gave up, they never waivered in their faith and belief. We all stood in awe as you made decisions that we could not fathom. Watching you has made us all stronger, especially me. I am continually amazed at your courage. I thank God for each day her gives Sydney peace and she is free of pain. I pray for her to continue to gain strength, she begins to eat, you prepare to take her to her new apartment and finally bringing her back to Texas. We love all of you and continue to keep all of you in our prayers and thoughts. I remain faithful, Patty

Praise God for His healing and sustaining hand on Sydney and the family. He is keeping His promise to get you to the other side. Hopefully the storm has passed and it will be a peaceful ride to the other side.
My parents asked me every week about Sydney. I printed out your emails. Your testimony and stories have open doors of opportunities to talk about with a daily relationship with the Lord look like. Thank you for your ministry to us and many others.
With Christ's love and mine, Cynthia G. Gammill Sydney's 3 yr old BSF Children Leader
