Hi Sydney!
I saw your tent and I used to make those all the time. Tents are so fun to lay in and read a book or have a tea party in with teddy bears. Once, I had a teddy bear tea party for my birthday. Maybe your mom and you can have a tea party in your tent. I'm going to color guard camp tomorrow and all the girls on my squad will be praying for you during our devotional time. I am praying for you to be 100% well!

carol and i talk about love and respect for each other and how hard it is when there is a taxing circumstance in our life. we determined to remind each other, (the next time we escalate), of the example lynette and you are modleing in the midst of the world, as it is, not as we would have it. Trusting the Christ will make all things right as we surrender to His will.
love yall both and family

I've been praying for your family every day since we heard ... I'm so sorry! But I'm also so inspired by your faith as described by Kamee and as evident in James' updates. Thank you for sharing with all of us! It's also a blessing to think of the amazing Young girls rallying around to love and support Sydney. By the way, she looks adorable with that short hair!!
I love Psalm 18:1-2 - God is our rock, our fortress, our refuge, ...
Love to all, Nell and family

Lynette and James,

Suzanne Laidlaw showed me the information this evening about your daughter, Sydney. What a wonderful strong name. James, I still remember when your Mom and Dad took over Ellis, Crotty Powers. Your Mom took the bull by the horn!! Sydney truly has a legacy beyond words and a strength that will be with her always.

All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Much Love,
Brenda Harper Gomez

Love the photo! Sydney, you look great! I am so very proud of you; we ALL are. I thank the Lord everyday for you and for His protection over you. You're Awesome!

Dear Lynette -- I think of you so often! How you've dedicated yourself to seeing your precious daughter -- your whole family -- through this ordeal. I wish I could wrap my arms around you; just give you a big hug and whisper encouragements in your ear. You're doing great! The Lord is working through your hands and feet and words and prayers. You are such a willing servant of His; I've always seen that in you! Truly an inspiration! Sincerely, Jenn

Dear Sydney,

I have been thinking of you and praying for you so often. The children in my Enrichment class are also praying for you! Your parents are right when they tell you that soooooooo many people are praying for you.

Tomorrow will be my first day not to have school. It will be strange not to get up and go to Providence tomorrow. All of the nature study animals went home with different families from Providence for the summer vacation. Last week all of the children and all of the animals on the hall were gone. It was very quiet. I missed seeing you and your friends! When it is fine for you to have visitors, I would love to come and see you and read you a book. Reading is one of my favorite activities. I hope you are enjoying having your mom and other relatives read to you. I got to see the picture of you in your tent. That looks like a great place to snuggle and read books!

May the Lord hold you and keep you.

Love,
Mrs. McWhorter

I am glad to hear that Sydney is finished with the chemo. She sounds like a real little trooper. I'm still praying for her and the family.
God is still in control. He will continue to see each of you through this difficult time.
It will be wonderful to see the plan He has for Sydney's life.

To God Be the Glory.

Linda
